Possible, everything I know is in that Audi MIB3 self-study. MOST is used to communicate album art and other graphics to the VC/HUD (but not maps etc, those do indeed go over LVDS).

I do think A2B is used for audio, they probably just didn't take out the MOST part.
Got it. I will do some more digging into the A2B standard, and possibly also how and where VAG has used it.

EDIT: Did some initial digging now, and as Audi definitely uses the A2B for their B&O equipped models, as these amplifiers does not have a MOST-connector, this seems pretty clear.

But...this is Audi....and we have no clear indication if Porsche are using the A2B on the Burmester system. But on the Bose however....we know that both the PCM6 mainunit, and the Bose amp has indeed MOST-connectors. And i refuse to believe that the MOST-connector is put there, with added cost, and then not used. So...as far as i can tell, with the info we currently have, is that the Bose system most likely uses the "older" MOST 150 system (not to be confused with MOST 25) and that the Burmester MIGHT be using the A2B system instead, but we'd have to see the amplifier itself to be able to find out.

Knowing this could potentially be really important for future sound upgrades to these cars.
