Same for me granted this hasn’t been looked at by the dealer yet as I have other problems.

Happen to me about once a week on both front windows, I don't use rear windows often.
I'll live with it and see if it gets worse before I take it to the dealer.

I had the same issue but it affected all the windows. Porsche service replaced the control electronics several months ago and the windows have worked properly, since.
1/2 year after my post on this issue, my windows are still working perfectly.

I just determined that all 4 windows have this problem, after hearing from family about occasional malfunction of rear-right window.

Could you please share how much the fix (replacing regulators, or other electronics) cost for you? I'm out of warranty

In my car I replaced both the front window regulators. Solved the problem. The operating wires were rusted away in 3 years.

In Europe I was quoted IIRC around 1300EUR to replace just the front window regulators. Bought them as spares from Germany and got them installed in a regular auto shop. Total around 600EUR

Which part number did you guys have replaced that fixed it? I have brought my car in a few times for it. Most recently they replaced the driver control unit (PAD959793) but the issue is still present.

I brought my can in so many times for them to fix this issue I lost count, but on the last visit they replaced all 4 motors. They said the motors keep track of the windows positions and so that was the reason to replace them. Before this, when the windows wouldn't roll up I would have to try the switch multiple times before I can get them to roll up. After the new motors were put in, they roll up 99.99% of the time. On the one occasion it didn't, it only took one extra push of the button to get it to roll up.

Thank you! Do you happen to have the part number?

I would have to find the work order, but just tell them to replace the motor. There's only one motor per window so there shouldn't be any confusion.

Will do - I’ve told them in the past to replace the regulators as it seemed like that was fixing the issue for some folks. I wish they would just replace everything related to the windows, every time I take it in I’m without my car for a month (do have a loaner though)

They also replaced the regulators, reprogrammed, etc in the past. Each time they did one thing, and yes each time they kept my car for weeks...very frustrating. But, in all, I put around 5k miles on the loaner instead of my car so there's that.

On infrequent occasions, the front windows on my 2022 RWD won't roll up on the first attempt. But they do after a couple of tries.

I thought it was because I have extra thickness/friction from the thermal glass and window tint. Maybe not?

Anyway, whenever I roll the front windows down I stop them about an inch before finishing, and I've never had any problems since.

Never had a problem with the back windows since they don't roll down all the way.
