This morning my Porsche app displayed this battery icon, which I have never seen before.
Then when I pressed on it, this message appeared. 1. Does this mean the 12V battery is not holding a charge since this is my wife's daily so it's driven regularly. 2. Why did it tell me to charge the HV...
I am looking forward to hearing from others on this as well. My thoughts are exactly the same as yours because my 911 also shows 14.3V while my TT shows 13.4V. However, even after sitting the garage for 2-3 weeks I can start the 911 right up, and I can hear the starter spinning quickly so no...
This maybe true in your country but not the US. Like most people who can't go anywhere without our phones, I have to have my radar detectors in all my vehicles. So, the first thing I do when I drop my car off is transfer it to the loaner. The detector has a built in GPS which shows your...
Wow the Macan EV I last time was not to my liking because the steering wheel was huge…the diameter is much bigger than the Taycan. This loaner has sport chrono so the wheel is much smaller, probably the same size as in our Taycan. For some reason it feels faster as well. But, most...
I just brought mine in for minor issues here and there before the warranty expires, and get one wheel repaired for curb rash. On the way there, my wife curbed another so make it two wheels. They gave us a Macan EV with 2800 miles so I am satisfied and they can keep my car as long as they need.
Do they have a 350kW station at the dealer? If they don't, I don't think they will take the time to drive to a place that does and possibly even wait in line to charge.
I disabled plug and charge, and used the EA app to start the sessions. It automatically refilled my account once it falls below the threshold by charging the credit card I have linked to the EA app.
The rebalancing procedure masks it, but from my own HV battery I think the biggest mask of all if the SOC. I didn't see the voltage delta being out of tolerance until I ran it down to 0% (on cluster not BMS). I've tested it at ~30%, ~50%, and 70% and they all showed within tolerance.
As to...
Sorry I got it backwards. The Max version is the one that covers the HV battery.
For 60 months/ 60k miles starting immediately when you sign for the pro was $5200, and he says the Max is about twice as much but I didn’t ask for the exact quote. The deductible is $100 for both.
One nice thing about the Porsche EV Plan is you can buy it anytime and it won’t take affect until after the original factory warranty runs out so you don’t have to worry about overlaps.
I had this issue fixed about a year ago. The squeak occurred only during backing out of an incline like a driveway, and only if I turned the wheel to the left (counter clockwise). Before bringing it in I found an incline that I can reproduce the issue and had a technician go with me and he...
Yes, it was a turbo. So, only the J1.1 TS is affected significantly by the SOC? So, if you've mentioned it before, but why the turbo isn't affected by the SOC?
Not doubting you, but a while back, I watched a YT video where this guy did an experiment and did 0-60 MPH runs at various SOC levels and only saw a tiny (.1 second) bit increase in time once the SOC fell below 30%. He showed the speedometer and draggy readout so it's not like we just had to...
There's a voltage setting, which you can set so that when the battery falls below a certain voltage it'll power down the camera. I left it at the default setting and have never seen it get shut down since I installed mine 3.5 years ago. The one in my 911 gets shut down frequently since I...
That has happened to me when there’s a bad signal, which also could mean that it’s locked but just hasn’t updated your app. Has the SOC and guessometer been updated yet or are they stale as well?
