Is the 12V battery about to go?

This morning my Porsche app displayed this battery icon, which I have never seen before.

Then when I pressed on it, this message appeared. 1. Does this mean the 12V battery is not holding a charge since this is my wife's daily so it's driven regularly. 2. Why did it tell me to charge the HV battery immediately when the SOC is at 67%. 3. Twice now, I've been logged out of my account and was presented with a popup to either log into my account or connect as guest. Could this be related to the 12V battery being drained and lost my account info?

I never got this message from the app but I did a few months ago in the car. I started monitoring the voltage in the car in one of the cockpit displays. I gave the car an Italian tune-up a couple of times…..the voltage increased and the error message never came back.

There is a relatively fresh 12V battery sensor recall WSS6. I had that icon as well when my 12V died after two weeks stay while connected to AC charger in garage. After that car was always showing voltage 14.2V which meant that it was being charged. Recall resolved it and now it behaves correctly and battery seems otherwise healthy (it holds charge above 13V when starting the car and 13.5V during driving). After that recall I had to factory reset PCM because GPS stopped working.

I was logged out 2 weeks ago as well. I think their servers are behaving funny, not related to 12V I think.

Software bugs are killing this car.

I got this on my 992 as I hadn't driven the car for a couple of months and so the 12v was low (car locked and alarmed which contributed to the drain).

First time I saw the icon on the app ironically and never with either of my Taycans.

Suspect it's a recent addition to the app also.

May have been a false positive in your case rather than a pending issue.

What is an Italian tune up

That means driving the car hard. People would do it to burn up carbon build up inside the engine.
On a combustion engine it would raise RPM to turn the alternator faster to charge the battery faster. Not sure how that equates to an electric car though.

Powering the car on would have the same effect!
