as an aside, when do you put winter tyres on? I bought my first ever set when i bought my ct. opted for 19" wheels and tyres from Porsche. Never used them before , as i always had range rovers with all weather tyres.my latest taycan lease came with 21" winters. one tire had a bulge in it. i had them swap them all out for summer tires. 20" winters make more sense...more sidewall, thinner tires

I'd appreciate any advice.

I typically would never consider, but I drove my etron GT last winter on the stock 20s with winters and was very good. I know going to 21s with wider rubber will probably make a difference just wondering how much. The width and lack of sidewall of the 21” wheel makes it less than ideal for a true winter tire. There are a couple of brands out there. If you google it, you’ll see them in your area.
I’ve had a similar experience. Winter tires are outrageously good due to the softer compound. So even at 21” they will be better than the best A/S. People that are serious about driving would opt for the full benefit of the smaller wheel so you wont find many bigger tires options out there.I typically would never consider, but I drove my etron GT last winter on the stock 20s with winters and was very good.
