Sounds like you know the Baltimore port. Any idea where the SFL Conductor will dock? Any live cams of the port area?

I’m not sure if it was unusual, but this is where the previous ship was moored for unloading.

My car was dropped in Jacksonville over the weekend but my SA in Fort Myers said they don't expect the car for two weeks. Here's hoping they're wrong!

SFL Conductor Update - Nov 26 06:00 - LAST FREE SATELLITE POSITION!

My free Fleetmon ride is over - server figured out the hiccup I guess and no longer refreshing for free but timing near perfect as we can track the Conductor easily now on MarineTraffic despite not having a satellite subscription there having picked it out on Fleetmon prior to end of trial.

Final leg into Halifax - should be picked up by terrestrial AIS by end of day today or possibly early morning on the 27th:

Corresponding position now for free on MarineTraffic - the weather pattern as predicted yesterday seems to be really co-operating - perfect low wind path to Halifax- full steam ahead!

Note on Marine Traffic

If you're new to MarineTraffic's site - you can use the vessel filters (highlighted below) to turn off all other craft other than Cargo ships (which include RoRo car carriers) to reduce clutter and noise.

In this example I have only cargo and tug boats on and we are lucky in that traffic is very low in the corridor that the Conductor is taking into Halifax right now so even without proper satellite ID we can easily pick her up from the last Fleetmon satellite record and match her here.

Also looks like my prediction of an early arrival for the Conductor is prob correct - current estimate from your image suggests midnight Nov 26 +/- 2 hrs.
Bit of an odd path being displayed as fairly sure she'll sail straight in.

Haha I did. I was waiting for the Terrestrial AIS to die before I picked up the free trial. My updates will not be as detailed as your, but I will do what I can

Excellent - thx for sharing - depending on my level of patience I might do another free trial with either MT or Fleetmon just to keep plugged in tracking the Conductor to Houston but will wait for now as obviously will be easy enough to track for free to Baltimore.
I need to get off my butt and go for a ride

Pardon my laziness for not digging deeper but on a quick look of your posts I couldn't see where you mentioned when your car arrived at port - how long was it in processing (still there?) and curious if yours was campaign free?

It arrived in Jacksonville on the 21st. TYD still didn’t update to say it arrived in port so I don’t know if it’s done with processing but my SA said 1-2 weeks for the car to arrive in Fort Myers from when it hit the port. I checked the VIN and it has no open campaigns.

Well I be - their free service actually gives you full sat service and basically the ETA and other data that Fleetmon/MT want you to pay for beyond their initial free trials - thx for sharing as I had assumed all along that this was just another site with the same options as Fleetmon/MT - cool!

EDIT: Do notice that in the free user mode it is slow to update rev to MT for example - presumably more real time with a subscription - but a very minor issue!
