Same here, was not updated this morning, but it is now. Same dates are you, even the completed entry port and entering channel are 12/24. Miles to dealer updated, 27 to go, so it's nice to know the car is in Baltimore.

Have to resist driving over there to see if I can find it....
Your delivery should be first of the bunch, so you're the bellwether!! Keep us posted and at this point, all Dec deliveries are gonna require pics :)

Today at 9am TYD was not updated. I get Porsche NA to open case about TYD not updating since Nov. 17. About 2 hours later, TYD is updated for SFL Conductor people. Hmm. Coincidence?
The disparity in service from Porsche NA simply amazes me. On the occasions I've called them for info over the past eight months they've kept me on hold for >30 mins waiting for a rep and each time that I've requested further details regarding the status of my car I'm told they have no further info than what's already on the TYD site which, like you, now hasn't been updated since 11/17... No offer to "open a case" or anything that can be described as remotely helpful.

I have solar, my house is new and plenty of room in the panel. My SA said I need a nema 14-20. Is that accurate?
My personal suggestion would be to install a NEMA 14-50 plug in the garage. This needs a 50 amp circuit breaker and 50 amp wire (your electrician will determine which wire needs to be used) and can supply charging up to 40 amps at 240v (80% of 50 amps). And then get a 40 amp EVSE (I use a Juicebox 40 but there are plenty of others).

This gets you 9.6kw charging. While this is a bit below the max charging rate of the 'standard' built-in charger in the Taycan, which is 11kw, with a max of 50 amps you can use a plug-in EVSE rather than a hard wired EVSE. Once you go over 50 amps, you need to use a hard wired EVSE.

I had to wait 10 minutes to get a rep. Spent 50 minutes total on the call. My rep also said she had no further details about car status. She said she got errors when she tried to access TYD. Suggested trying later. I used the "TYD must be broken since it hasn't updated since Nov 17" problem description and asked how I could report broken computer system. At that point she offered to open a case. Whether that had anything to do with TYD updating 2 hours later I do not know. Faster method, at least for my time, was to email same thing to Porsche customer service.

I get the feeling that there's a few things going on with TYD. First is that the massively negative impact and feedback on TYD during the supply chain issues, which are definitely showing steady improvement may have made them dial back from a fully automated update setup to something more like a "sanity checked bulk load" that is not real time. Second, in keeping with a pretty clear practice of underpromise, overdeliver, they probably got super conservative on everything. Everyone would rather see dates move up rather than push out, so build in a buffer to allow for it to be on the next ship, or delayed at port or any of the other things that may go wrong.
For me, seeing my date consistently and regularly move out 7 days, 14 days and so on through the process was a lot more frustrating than maybe if they said from day 1 "Yeah, February" then delivered a car in December.

I agree with your post.

If I had to do it over, once SFL Conductor departed Emden, I should have called/emailed Porsche NA and said, hey, TYD says port arrival 12/24 but Porsche shipping schedule says port arrival 12/3, so TYD must be broken. Could you open ticket to get TYD fixed?

That way the issue is computer system problem, not can you give me updated info.

Another poster on this site speculated that TYD is not a critical system from IT perspective like corporate website, Porsche connect, etc. so it may not be proactively monitored for downtime and failed updates.

Oh for sure a "marketing" IT solution would be viewed like that. There's some really cool potential additional TYD features that folks would love, but throw that on a backlog and prioritize it against "I can't login to my car" type stuff and it completely makes sense. The marketing part is probably a different team but there's a ton of dependency on "real" operations to get all this data out there

SFL Conductor - For Houston Arrivals - web cams:

Couple more webcam options to see the Conductor pass through the Galveston ship channel on it's way to the Houston AutoPort - map of locations and web links below.

An additional option I previously shared is the Bayport terminal cam (further up the bay), link also below.

If you're really inspired you can go all the way to the end of the Texas Dike and practically shake the Captain's hand as he sails by :)

View looking ENE - shows the Dike (where it says Galveston Bay) - cargo ships sail right by it. Lots of other viewing options at end of Seawall Blvd., the ferry areas and on Bolivar etc.

They switch views fairly frequently so may have to mess around a bit with this one - note also a opt-down list of addl. cams.

How long was the Conductor moored before being unloaded?
