Hi folks, calling all roadies out there! I’m expecting my Taycan RWD in late November. I’ll certainly want to use it to transport a road bike or two. I see a guy in this post managed to get a road bike in the back of his CT without taking any wheels off. He must be happy with that!

Can any other cyclists out there share a pic of their road bikes in the back of the Taycan non-CT? I am also considering getting a Seasucker rack like this, but would rather put the bike inside if it isn’t much hassle.

Keep on rollin’, one way or another.

Edit: My bike doesn't doesn't fit in the back so I got a Seasucker Komodo as per the pics. It's very nice! Feels solid. I left the komodo on the car for 4 hours, didn't budge and still had full suction.

I haven't tried driving with it attached yet, and in fact my car park is too low for me to be able to attach the bike until I'm outside. I am pretty scared that I'll forget I've got the bike on the roof and drive in... eek!

I don't have a photo right now but when I put my road bike back of my non-CT Taycan I have to take off the front wheel. So far for me it's been easier getting a rack, but it would open up some trunk space on a long trip.

Did you have to put the back seats down when you put the bike in without the front wheel? Also which rack did you get?

I have sold my Taycan, and picking up a CT next week. You can get one road bike in the back of the Taycan with the seats down and the front wheel off the bike. The reason I switched to the CT is the bike carrying options.

I easily can get my road bike into my 4S sedan - but I first have to take the front wheel off. And that's why I'm patiently waiting for my CT 4S to arrive...

One other question I forgot to ask: Did anyone manage to get x2 road bikes in the back?

I didn't even try as I was sure they wouldn't fit. There's not much vertical space. If you take both wheels off both bikes you might be able to jam them in.

No chance. You’d have to take both wheels, saddle and bars off I reckon. It’s tight for 1 bike with front wheel off. Any more than this get a rack

Sounds like others are saying they did not have to remove the front wheel?. I would prefer not to have to remove the front wheel due to thru axle and disk brakes.

Possibly depends on the size of your bike. There is no way I can get a Canyon 56cm Endurace into the CT without removing front wheel. Same with my sons mountain bike.

Thanks all, seems that it is no issue to get one back in the back, for anything else, external options are a must! Thanks again.

Update: I received my car last week and tried to put my road bike in the back today. Even with the front wheel off, I can't even get it past the boot opening. My saddle is too high (I'm reasonably tall, have a large frame bike and high seat post). I don't want the extra hassle of adjusting the saddle to get it in and out so I've just ordered a Seasucker Komodo.

I'll post some pics and my first impressions when I get it.
