I built a diy night vision camera for the front of my Defender 90
after having one on my first Taycan. If you just need the germanium window you should be able to get the correct size from

I've not used Knight Optical but...
It won't work without a connect subscription. I have Intelligent Go and it stopped working when I didn't renew connect. Octopus said they would discontinue Intelligent Go if I didn't add the car back as a device but I don't think they have yet
My CT4 is due it's four year service in 2-3 weeks. It's booked in for some workshop campaigns at the same time. What are people paying for the second (4 year) service? I remember having to pay £100- £150 to check a drainage hole on the first service.
I'm on Intelligent Go but stopped using it because of reliability issues then I didn't renew Porsche Connect so afaik it won't work anymore. I got an email from Octopus saying I had to connect or they would switch me to Octopus Go. I have an Andersen A2. Is there a way to set it up without a...
My car was booked into the OPC for the ARB6 software update but it got updated over the air. I tried to cancel the appointment but they are saying there is another campaign due to recode the headlights. Anyone know what that's about?
@ct14garage, I'm sure a number of members, including me, are interested to find out when new releases of the software are available. It might be worth creating a new thread just for release updates. The reason I ask is i just scrolled through about 10 pages of this thread looking for V1.0.0...
I have an Andersen A2 which I don't think is compatible.
I'll manage without the free electricity. No point paying £300+ for porsche connect in order to get a few pounds of free electricity.
I have the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff and used to use the Octopus app to control the charging. I had the Taycan added as a device. I stopped using it about a year ago as it wasn't that reliable. I had Porsche Connect at the time.
Octopus have started doing free electricity hours so I thought...
I had this exact problem last November a few days before my warranty was due to expire and the day after I'd taken out the extended warranty. It needed a new HV charger to fix it. Took about 10 days for the OPC to diagnose and fix as the part had to come from Germany at the time. It was around...
Great app. I've used carscanner before to see SoH and battery voltages and temps, but this gives a much more tailored view. I have an ARB7 active on my car as it stopped doing online data uploads for some reason. It was just in the dealer for a 60 day check and this confirms their findings...
Agreed, I don't believe a Connect subscription is required for remote monitoring. I didn't renew my connect subscription last November. I originally received a WRS0 letter in December but then received an ARB6 letter two weeks ago. I spoke to the dealer and they said the car had successfully...
Not sure about the app as I don't pay the connect fee but I got an ARB6 letter last week. I spoke to the dealer about it and they said the car hadn't reported the battery data since mid Feb so that was the reason the letter was sent. So it seems ARB6 gets triggered if the car isn't checking in...
Thanks, I think all is fine. I have a cross through the phone symbol but LTE is active. On startup I see two horizontal lines where LTE is which must mean the data SIM is connecting.
The letter is dreadful. It just talks about making sure your car is connected to the internet for 45 mins regulary but gives no detail on what to check or do.
I have been trying to figure out the same. I got the WRS0 letter a few days ago and it says the car should be connected to the internet regularly with Privacy off. I didn't renew my Connect last month because the car was in the dealer for 3 weeks for a HV charger replacement. When I got it back...
I had a screen break when I got my first Taycan in July 2020. Stone broken the screen about 12 hours after I collected it. Insurance said Autoglass only. Dealer said they just send to the local windscreen specialist. Went with Autoglass who got an OEM screen. Fitter said it's no different to fit...
