Most other Porsche models I've driven in (991 911, Boxter, two generations of Cayenne) have a button to turn off parking sensor. I find this button particularly useful when driving in winter condition. Last weekend, we had a first real snow of the season and I was shocked to realize there isn't an easy way to turn off the parking sensor, which resulted in car screaming at me for "close by object" every time it reached below 15 km/h. The only thing I can do was exit the parking assist window by pressing a small "x" button on the screen, which got annoying very quickly.
Mapping programmable button to Parking Assist can only bring up the screen but not put it away, and it wasn't going to be feasible since I would have to press it every two inches the car moves. Does anyone have a better solution than what I had to do last weekend? Winter is here and I would hate to drive Taycan like that every time it snowed.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers.
