Hello,
I'm a new Taycan 4S owner. just 2-weeks of ownership and generally very happy with the car.
One small big problem though, When using the demist button to clear a steaming up wind screen.
I'm from London where temp was a bit cold during the last 2 weeks but nothing sub zero.
The Taycan would start by blowing very cold air before starting to heat up. The result is a few seconds of a total white blanket before clearing up.
I don't think it's normal for the Taycan to make the situation much worst before clearing the screen and Those few seconds of no vision are seriously risky and can cause serious accidents.
I understand this is because of how electric cars heat air but the Taycan should be smart enough to hold air a little until it's a little warmer.
I called Porsche and before seeing the car they assumed it's normal and nothing can be done about it. They suggested that I heat the air con each time by turning it on it's heater before using the demist function which is a lot of manual work.
Is this really normal? Do you guys face the same problem?
