Me as well. Hands down the BEST dealer my family as ever dealt with Porsche or non-Porsche. Even the Bentley dealer couldn't hold a candle to their service/support. Saturday brunch is icing on the cake and I'm there at least twice a month.

Alex,

I got the clear side markers a few days ago from Suncoast….did your dealer put them on for you? I’m asking them to….I’ve seen the tutorials, seems a bit more than it was with my previously owned Cayman.

Hi Fsudoles, mine was delivered with those clear side markers, I didn’t even realize that maybe it should not have been? I did find the amber ones in a box in the frunk, so maybe they meant to change them and let it slip? I’m not complaining

Thank you…I ran over to Champion a week or two ago I saw two recently delivered Taycans and they had amber ones. My SA asked me to bring my clear ones once our car arrives and he’d try to get someone to install them. If they have clear ones already, I can’t return them to Suncoast but maybe I can sell them on this forum.

Have you used any South Florida Electrify America locations yet?

yes just a few times at EA charger in a Walmart parking lot, to “test” the process, and it did not really go very well, only 2 of 6 chargers were working, and once I did start charging it kept starting and stopping, then I got billed $50 x 3 (for each time it stopped and I had to reswipe credit card). Put a total of 30 miles of juice in, billed $150 (never mind it’s supposed to be free). I did call EA and got my money back of course but it was far from a smooth process. What is your experience?

Oooff..I’ll let you know when the car arrives in 8-9 weeks….I‘m in a condo without a charger available (long story) so I’m close enough to Champion so I may go there and charge if need be….but I’ll try EA at Broward and I-95 first…we also have two free chargers in our town’s pay lot…we park for free in those if we by a town parking decal. Thank you….have a great week.

Just curious if the Plug and Charge (vehicle recognition by EA) method worked at all the above. I’m pretty sure the 2021s had that capability as do the 2022s….it seems like it’s problematic for some owners. EA Broward Boulevard will be my “home” charging location….assuming it works as advertised.

Yes I’m pretty sure I did something wrong from the start, though the first time I used it at the same site I feel like I did the same thing (swipe my card) and it recognized it was a Taycan and did not charge me. I’m just looking online now and is it still true you have to also have the “Charging NA” app along with Porsche Connect to get free charging?

You should not need to ever swipe your card for EA during the first 3 years. Plug and charge (when it works) or via the app. I called EA when I had issues and they got it going. Never took my credit card out of my pocket.
Glad you got your cash back.
