It was working fine until about ten days ago….but as my production date approached…the dates shifted a week back….and then there was an image of a race driver holding an umbrella instead of displaying the timeline for a few days. When the timeline reappeared my production date was set for January 28th. TYD still hasn’t updated past Phase 2…so I reached out to our SA…and he has the ability to see beyond TYD…and he let me know our car went into the body shop last Wednesday…the first day of the build. I’m not sure if they produce on weekends, so I’m guessing it’ll be complete in a day or two. I’ll let you know if TYD wakes up and updates the start of production date.

It will probably depend on your options. If there are options that will require visiting the customization shop it may take more than a few days. My car went into production on 25 January and still shows "in Production". It does now have a VIN so I'm guessing it is probably waiting for PPF or one/more of the other options that may be installed in the customization shop.

Indeed ! From initial config till final I added 25K ( PTS adds a lot quickly ... )
Sticking with my 4S build, rather than upgrading to a Turbo or Turbo S was my saving grace. I eventually ran out of options that I had any interest in whatsoever. Believe me, right up until freeze I kept looking for another button to push ;)

Ours is a pretty standard base build, premium package and 20” rims, etc.
How or where did you see the VIN?

Thanks

When I go to "Overview" from the MyPorsche dropdown and select "Discover current phase" the VIN is on the left under "Your Taycan 4S". My overview still shows it in phase 2, Scheduled for Production and TYD shows Start Production Completed on 25 January.

Mine started production on 24th, and I just got the "ready for transport" message in the app two days ago. Thankfully my car doesnt have to cross any oceans to get here, so hoping to take delivery of the car "relatively soon"

But to stay in topic...the Porsche configurator is one of the most addictive things I've ever encountered! :D And as several others on here, used way more time that i initially though i would, and I think I must have used around 6 to 8 weeks to get to my "perfect configuration"

Thank you so much…I swear I checked this morning, but following your instructions I too now have a VIN! Very exciting, progress! Have a great Sunday.
