Wanted elegance over aggression. Performance over gadgets.

Feel I may have over egged it though!

Looks good, going over multiple permutations myself on a daily basis!

My opinion for what it’s worth, you should spec gloss black side windows (silver looks out of place) and gloss black badge…I would also have a good look at the exterior mirror with gloss black option (the standard one looks a bit plasticy in my opinion).

Porsce crests on the seats is a cheap upgrade.

I would drop PDCC but have to admit to also flirting with the fully loaded performance options thinking I should have them…the truth is though the Taycan drives like a dream without any of them added and the only must have is power steering plus.

One last one I’m going with is the electric charge port, looks cool and if getting gloss black windows, badge and mirrors matches well.

My 4S has the PDCC and Rear Axle Steering, two options I was on the fence about but I am really glad that my car has them! Agree with the suggestion about Black Trim, especially with the Neptune Blue paintwork.

By the time you add a few gloss black bits, you’ll be in GTS territory price wise. If you like performance did you consider upgrading even if it means dropping a couple of things?

thanks for all the replies.

Think I am going to drop the pdcc - seems that with the low centre of gravity the need for it isn't so large plus have seen some reports of owners saying they find the way the car behaves with it is a bit wierd.

agreed - am straying into GTS pricing and would have one in a heart beat. Unfortunately there's an 18 month wait for them but can get this car by June.

On a side note - worth getting the leather interior over and above the standard?

If you're dropping the PDCC then I'd be tempted to put the funds towards the full leather interior.

Btw I might be well off but your username and location says to me this car will be throughly detailed and coated in "crystal".

I see you have chosen Neptune blue. Not tempted to match your company colours?

This place might look familar to you.

Think mine was the first CT they had done as Jay was surprised by it's size.

nice. think I am wavering on the blue - regretted not getting my Giulia QV in red. know that place well - Kelly was one of our very first Accredited Detailers and his knowledge and quality of work are really top of the game.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'm going to see another one of your accredited detailers. Graham at Azuri.
I'm taking the Mrs car there when it arrives.

Going over your build personally I would drop the front and rear seat heating as you get front heated as standard. No need to spend money on rear passengers.
Side window trims to gloss black and change the lower mirror trim to gloss black as they come as matt black plastic. Obviously this is down to personal preference.

Another vote for more gloss black and remove PDCC (even some Porsche reps say it's more beneficial for a track car or a high centre-of-gravity SUV).
Interior finish is such a personal choice, try and get to see in person as many material and trim options as possible, even travelling further afield to other dealers- the configurator doesn't render them (particularly colour and detail) well enough to inform important aesthetic decisions.

Graham also top notch - thanks for the vote of confidence!

think I am finally settled on the spec - my local dealership (Porsche Silverstone) had a Crayon with red leather going out to a customer which I really liked so have gone with that.

Still a bit on the fence on the Panoramic roof but the family loves it so will stick with it.

side Q - am guessing cash buy with an EV is still a bit risky. Will be doing around 12k miles p/a. Lease or PCP?

PS - delivery scheduled for 10th May  - apparently the 4s Sport Turismo was a surprise to dealerships hence v. short lead time. Think there may be one or two slots still available if anyone's interested. GTS is 18 months.
