Roof rails on panoramic roof

Greetings all. I recently purchased a Taycan CT 4S with a panoramic roof without the roof rails. Was wondering what options I have if I want to mount roof racks to outfit a roof box?

None options! You need a roofrail to mount anything on your roof.

I’m sure you can add the rails if you have a pan roof

I have a 4S with pano roof and there are roof rail mounting points on either side of the glass. You should be able to see them, small rectangular plastic pieces. From these points you can mount 2 cross bars and put whatever you want on top (ski carrier, box etc).

Does the CT not have them?

Oh man I just stumbled on this thread and I think I fu**** up. I didn’t want glass roof on my CT4S and also didn’t ordered roof rails. I don’t know why but I was sure that there will be holes in the roof for mounting bars Like on many other cars.
There is no way to mount roof bars?

On the CT you can only add the roof rails to the Pano roof. The standard roof has no options for the rails.

That I understand. I don’t dont necessary want rails. Most cars have small bars mount holes. So it looks Like on the image below. CT doesn’t have it?

Just to be clear, those cross bars above don’t sit in holes. They typically align with small indents just for alignment, but they are held on by clamping to the roof above the doorframe.

You cannot use this type of setup on the sedan due to the frameless door design. I would assume the same on the CT and the ST.

No, there's no kit from Porsche to do this. Rails must be ordered with the car. The rails are mounted on the glass, I don't know if there's a bolt thru the glass or is there some mount attached to the glass.

I heard you can mount those after wards ... but not a definitive answer from porsche. So hard to get any answers from them at HQ and dealer...
