Roof rails on panoramic roof

Hmm that’s odd, I’ve seen something like it even on Audi A5

The doors are frameless... doesn't work which is why I am asking about mounting the original bars on pano roof of the CT.

Thanks. Do you have experience with those? Any speed limit and weight you can apply?

I’ve seen them a few times as bikes carriers on stuff like 911s and they rate them up to 45kg, so that’s enough even for a roof box.

I believe that on clean glass it’ll stick really well, and if you don’t have the holes in your roof for Porsche rails feels like cups are your only option since the “clamp style” won’t work on frameless doors…

I’m surprised that they go through the pain of modifying the pan roof when it’s ordered with/without rails but yours looks like it’s not meant to have them on ??‍

Following this thread closely …. I’ve ordered a Turbo ST with panoramic roof but without roof rails as I really don’t like the look. I’m a twice a year roof box user. Suckers look like a reasonable option but I’d be keen to hear other creative options

Greetings all. I recently purchased a Taycan CT 4S with a panoramic roof without the roof rails. Was wondering what options I have if I want to mount roof racks to outfit a roof box?

The best you go with treefrog crossbar roof rack. I have been using it years.
