Hello. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and I sincerely hope I am wrong, however...

I was called by my Porsche sales guy to tell me that they are not sure what the status is of the two Macan's we have on order are because the Leipzig factory closed yesterday due to the Ukraine situation and 'supply chain issues'. They were supposedly in the body shop on the 23rd, which hopefully means they completed production before the closure, but the online Porsche system is not presenting any reliable information.

He also said the Zuffenhausen factory, which is where the Taycan is made, is closing next week and they have not been told for how long at this stage. I have a MY22 GTS (Neptune Blue) on the ship at the moment, which I am getting from this dealer and selling them my MY22 4S CT (which has arrived in Australia) and had ordered an MY23 GTS (Crayon) from them as well. Looks like I may be keeping the MY22 GTS for a while now.

Man, that's a bit of a gut punch if it impacts the Taycans. Mine is supposed to be in production later this month. Guess I'll be asking my dealer what's up.

I was originally supposed to start Production on 2/18 and be done by now, but on 2/16 it was pushed back to 3/11. If this is true…. Ugh.

Mine started production on 22FE, now showing completion on 11MR from 04MR.

It’s been 9 days since the start of production and seems like it should be done by now…

what build times have other people been seeing?

I’m in the same boat as you are.

same here - start on Feb. 23 - complete production March 11th - 911 Cab - we’ll see if this holds true.

crap. That doesn’t bode well for my backup plan. My dealer had a 911 cab slot available and I was going to take that in case shit hit the fan. Fingers crossed that we see some movement over the next week.

afaik they temporarily suspended Macan and Panamera production, 911 and Taycan are still going. But in the current situation it can probably change day to day...

The articles say Zuffenhausen is still going this week but things are changing. Porsche dealerships have been told to expect closure next week.
