that would be redundant and really is not needed. I live in FLA and the car with the pano roof is no hotter than a steel roofed car.
Yep I am in Hawaii and sun all day..no problem keeping the car cool. I did get the inside tinted with 35% ceramic tint but the roof is fine. In the advent I needed it done could add a ceramic tint double film to block the heat like I did for my moonroof on my 991.1 when I lived in Phoenix, AZ. There that saved me during those 130 degree days! :).

Otherwise no problems yet with my panoramic roof....and the view and amount of light does make the cabin more airy and roomy vs the steel roof that seems more claustrophobic, IMHO.

Sorry, can’t help you. I live in England. ?
Though we do seem to get a couple of fewking hot weeks each year now though, not enough to justify household aircon etc but certainly unpleasant without. I found my iPace with pano roof a very pleasant place to be in those times. No issue from that panoramic so was happy to option the pano in the Taycan. Had the peltier cooled seats which were great for those few weeks too, cost me an upgrade to vented with excuse for massage on the Taycan…but do intend to do some trips to Portugal to see parents.

I am in mid-Atlantic FL with my 4S and have the pano roof. No heat related problems. If you ever want to use a Porsche roof rack you must have the pano roof to get the roof rack sockets. The metal roof does not come with the roof rack sockets.

Okay 1 month down. Still no heat related issues. Got tint also ceramic double layer 35% Pinnacle all around. Helps a lot and not much hotter than my prior Audi RS5 Sportback with panoramic roof also. Currently in tropical paradise of Hawaii...no issues.

As I have mentioned before, tint makes ALL the difference. Especially in Florida/sunny areas. A must have.

I haven't gotten my Cross Turismo yet, but I'm planning to tint the pano roof. I live in the Sacramento Valley of Northern CA and triple digit temps in the summer are normal. In 2021 we had several stretches of days with temps greater than 110 F.

I would NOT do the panoramic roof again if I ever bought another Taycan

Yeah - I really didn't want it, but no choice with the Cross Turismo.

That’s just not true and I proved it at my local dealer sitting in both on a sunny 80 degree day. I put my hand up near the roof of both and I could feel the heat radiating off the roof in the pano car and nothing in the steel car. I don’t think it’s enough necessarily to not get it, but it sure as heck radiates some heat that you don’t get in a fixed roof car.

interesting remark because I am also in Florida and have driven teslas and the taycan for almost ten years now and have never had any issues with excessive interior heat related to the pano roofs in either car.
if it makes you feel good to have the pano roof tinted, that's great, but a must have? not for me, I'm happy with the tinting from the factory.

For me pano roof was a no-no despite living in "not that hot" area. We have like 2-3 month of serious heat. I know it looks cool to someone and lightens the interior but from a technical point of view it's worse in every aspect. The car heats quicker, there is more wind noise and it's heavier (I know it's not that much but it is heavier 60-70 pounds).

One thing I don't get is why you can't get roof rails without panoramic roof... maybe there is some construction, reinforcement issue but it was disappointing for me. I got them on my Macan.

I meant tint for other glass - not the pano roof. I am happy with OE pano tint

My personal preference is not to have it. The reason being that it’s always sunny in the UAE and it’s 40C + for 3 months of the year . I don’t want the extra glare and heat i the cabin.
