For those of you that want to switch the transparency of the roof on/off there is a very elegant and relatively inexpensive ($1-$2K) solution. We use this in my company, and it's an lcd film that is applied to the inside of the window in our laboratories. For visitors coming through, we can switch the film to opaque with either a wall switch or an iPhone app. I've attached both configurations so you can see the difference. Any images you see in the opaque view are reflections from the opposite wall. You cannot see anything on the other side of the window.
I'm sure a good installer can put this on the roof from the inside and install a switch at the appropriate spot in the car. I may do this - I'll update you on the details as I look into it. And yes, we chose white for our labs, but you can get it in black...
