Update from My SA.
One CT was released from Benicia this week. Porsche Marin is expecting 4 others to be released "soon"
As usual, take this with a (sizable) grain of salt

With the same grain of salt .. only these 4 cars from Porsche Marin are to be released? Not the others? Or, only Porsche Marin cars were confirmed?

Just got another update on the situation broadly - (take this with a grain of salt). Apparently the cars are being sent from Germany in various states (some without crucial updates forcing quality control at the port to update the cars to even be able to move them etc.)

Apparently Germany QA/QC is at fault? Not that figuring this out matters

Also - has anyone heard anything saying Porsche AG isn't "responsible" for the cars until they are on the truck in route to dealer (some 1920 Maritime law or something?)??

In the end, it's Porsche. I don't care whose it is internally. That's for Porsche to figure out.

Perhaps the cars were completed without a particular part. A flux capacitor, for example. They knew they would need to swap out flux capacitors on hundreds of CTs, so they thought "Oh, free freight!" and put all the flux capacitors they had (and would ever need) in the trunk of a Macan and sent it over on the Felicity Ace.

This is what happens when you have months to think.

If this is true, that would be amazingly good news and glad to hear someone is at least getting their CT from a California Port.

So, while I wait indefinitely for my CT to be out of port Benicia, I was considering other options like EQS. Used or new, there is a heavy markup. I called one dealer for EQS and SA said 20k markup.
I said "no thank you" (in simple terms) and hung up the phone!

Feels like the wait for CT goes on forever. ?

Also in Northern CA, Hyundai and Kia dealers have $5K - $10K ADM on Ioniq5 and EV6 cars !!! If I had gone with the 911 allocation last year instead of the CT, I wonder if I would already have a car. As they say, hindsight is 20/20...

My SA said he was going to reach out to some people at Porsche to try and find out what was really going on. That was a week ago. Radio silence since then. I also have a custom order (replacement for the one that burned and sunk) with a lock date of today. No word on that one either. I’m not having good luck with Porsche.

While i'm not stuck in Houston, i'm stuck in Emden bound for houston. my CT4S was supposed to be on a boat 4/22 and has missed the past 2 ships that were bound for the Gulf.

SA said he shows it will ship today. But the next boat that will go to US Gulf isn't going to get to emden until next week, so doubt he has accurate information. turns out we collectively know more than any of them i think.

i think its more evidence for the 'cars aren't done just because they are out of production' theory and they are using the ports as parking lots for cars nearly done. i suspect i won't make it out of Emden next week either - not until they get the existing CT's out of Houston.

I'm waiting for the next TYD update. It's 50/50 if it gets pushed back beyond 5/20.

Been lurking. Car is stuck at Benicia since 3/07. TYD says 5/20 delivery. Just gonna wait it out at this point. Probably the most annoying experience I've had with an incoming car.

Yes, but you can always take a drive in the Huracan, which in my limited experience pushes *anything* else from one's mind. I guess the drive does have to end though, and reality returns.

So glad to hear that some CTs are finally being delivered. Sounds like all so far are at Houston ? Hope Benicia gets whatever is needed to start getting the cars out of Port Processing..
