My gut instinct is to go with the newly available Pilot Sport 4s. However, our Taycan is a daily driver and mostly used for commuting. Therefore, we don't need to go with the grippiest tire. We are willing to compromise some grip for longevity as we plan on putting around 20k miles a year. We live in Southern California.

Here are the 21 inch options from Tire Rack:

Do I still go with the Pilot Sport 4s? Or better to go with Goodyear based on my situation?

I am eager to replace my Continentals with PS4S. I've never been unhappy with that tire on any car.

Also: My Conti rears needed replacement at 10.5K. Not the longevity I expected.

Wow crazy. Our OEM Contis are at 22k miles. The outer tread is still ok at 5/32nds but the inner tread is at 3/32nds due to 'feathering' which I suspect is from the Taycan's aggressive factory alignment.

Hey xirtam2381 what tire did you end up going with? I'm looking at the same choices and we take delivery next month. Trying to get things dialed in before she comes!

As a data point - my Contis wore the inside treads first.

I replaced with Michelin PS4S and they are wearing evenly.

I did not change the alignment.
