Burmester Amp Missing

You were spot on! My dealer has just emailed to say the Burmester Amplifier is due to be delivered to them tomorrow. They will fit it on Monday during PDI. Porsche has allocated them 0.7 hours to fit and test the amplifier so hardly a big job. Thanks again and hopefully you'll be getting your car very soon too!

So the Burmester Amp arrived at my dealer today and is being fitted on Monday as in conjuction with the PDI. All being well I will have my 4S Sport Turismo at the end of next week. Good luck to others who are waiting.

Well, the part did come, but the non Porsche finance needed another day, so collection 8am Tuesday. Fingers crossed for a happy Taycan Tuesday!

I’m joining the list of those waiting for a burmester amp. My car finished being built on Feb 15th. It finally arrived at the dealer today in Vancouver, Canada. Dealer doesn’t know when the part is coming. Sigh

The wait is finally over!! Collected last night, car is amazing, better than I imagined. Will get some more pictures today including interior. Burmester sounds good as well luckily!!

Also collected mine, although no decent pictures yet - to follow over the weekend.

First two observations coming out of a Panamera two years ago and a DB11 recently:

1. It is vastly faster than anything ever driven.
2. The interior is smart and well put together but is less luxurious than a Panamera and less special than a DB11 (although this had SO many issues).

The conclusion? It feels as tidy as a 911 (although bigger/less nimble) but is as comfortable as a Panamera. The 70-100 (on private roads of course) is like nothing else. See ya Golf R32 on my bumper.

Good to hear Burmester cars are no coming through!

My Sport Tursimo 4S Arrived yesterday with Bumester. The car replaces a near identical spec Cross Turismo 4S that had Bose and I can confidently say that the Burmester is a big improvement over the already pretty impressive Bose. I can listen to Burmester without any Bass/Treble adjustment and the sound stage and clarity is so much better than the Bose. The bass depth also seems much improved. Yes, it's expensive, but in the grand scheme of a £100k+ car i think it is worth it.

Sorry to hear that. My friend's Taycan has been delivered on the 18th of May. It only took 3 days to get the amp to the dealer...

this is insane to me.

my car was built on 4/8 and has been sitting in Emden since 4/12 waiting on the Burmester amp. Why am i suck while everyone else gets theirs? Why is it at the port instead of dealership?
