Taycan GTS RS Spyder Wheels vs Mission E Wheels

Hey Taycan GTS owners,

I was wondering if any Taycan GTS owners went with Mission E wheels over the GTS RS Spyder wheels?

I love Mission E wheels and that's what got me interested in a Taycan.

However, after I got my Taycan GTS allocation, my SA said Mission E is overdone and RS spyder wheels are the way to go.

I somewhat agree with him because that RS Spyder wheels will set them apart from other Taycan Models since it's GTS specific.


But I feel like I might regret skipping on Mission E wheels in the future.

I was wondering if anyone had the same thought process.

The black/gun metal color RS Spyder wheels are specific to the GTS, but anyone can order RS Spyder wheels. They're both great looking wheels, my personal preference is Mission E but you can't go wrong either way

I am set on Carmine Red but can't decide on the wheels. Mission E was the reason I wanted a Taycan but RS Spyder Wheels in Black is like the identity of GTS trims. What do you guys think I should go with?

If you’re ordering a GTS and there’s an option exclusive to the GTS, go with that ?Just my 2 cents.

I absolutely loved the black RS Spyder wheels right away, one of very few options that I didn't have to think about at all.

GTS RS spec matte black wheels all day long. If you want the mission E wheels or any other wheels buy a 4S or a Turbo. Make your car look like a GTS or GTFO (I kid, but not really). If you order anything but the GTS I think the mission E wheels look awesome especially all black but for the GTS get the RS spyder.

Not a GTS owner, but for me RS Spyder every time.
If you really want Mission E, I would colour code the rim to Carmine red as others have suggested.

The RS is admirable, especially the black out version exclusive to GTS. Part of me still regret not biting the bullet and spec’d them.

mission e wheel is equally cool in its own way especially with the stormtrooper look on a white Taycan.

If you are getting a Carmine red GTS, the black RS wheels should be the way to go.

Spec'd the RS Spyders and planning to try to get some mission e's and swap them whenever....best of both worlds.

Mission E wheels are epic and timeless. They will look good today, tomorrow, and in 10 years. All these ‘Spyder’ wheels look the same to me, busy and boring. OP, go with your gut, get the Mission E wheels. They make the Taycan.

Same here. I own a 4s with mission-e now. And I spec. RS Spyder on my new GTS order because its only for GTS and more special on the road.

If Carmine Red is the color you're going with, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better looking OEM wheel than the RS Spyders. However (unpopular opinion ahead), I think the unsung hero of Porsche's wheel options is the 21' Taycan exclusive wheels in Jet Black Metallic. Absolutely stunning, and they aren't nearly as ubiquitous as the Mission E's.
