I was in this dilemma and in the end decided to go with the GTS over the 4S.

I saw the satin black RS Spyder's in person on Monday, having test driven this beauty:
https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsche-taycan-gts-preowned-1X67ZG

They look absolutely stunning and in my opinion are joint best Taycan alloys with the CT exclusive 21s.

Granted you could get the 4S RS Spyder's painted satin black at your nearest detailer, but then it wouldn't be "exclusive". I am not sure Porsche would allow the GTS alloys being fitted to a 4S as it then devalues all models in the range, which are designed to have "exclusive" components and options.

Their pricing model is genius for a reason.

So your options are:
1. Buy a GTS, with your satin black RS S., but expect a long wait.
2. Buy a 4S, with your silver RS S., then get them sprayed satin black aftermarket, and have your car delivered 6-8 months sooner.
Great idea! I like the all black look. The silver inner wheel (what the calipers site on). I thought that would be black as well? Silver in the pics you posted

Benefit of GTS: black is the theme throughout.

Smoked matrix headlights.

Smoked rear light bar.

Graphite disc brakes, which team perfectly with the satin black RS Spyder's.

None of that is even optionable on the 4S.

Red calipers on GTS - black is an option.

In fact all the black./ smoked bits are optional across the range (supply constraints aside) - above statements are incorrect.
4S not possible to option smoked matrix headlights nor graphite coloured disc rotors (GTS exclusive).

You can option the smoked rear headlight.

There appears to be a theme where each model has exclusive options and features, otherwise there's no point upgrading (spending more!).

Actually it is or rather was prior to the supply issues - that's why I added the caveat ;-)

Ice blue or black matrix have been options since launch as has coloured callipers.

Red as STD on 4S and GTS ( as per all other Porsche GTS models), black optional and then white or yellow depending on the type of brakes - there's a pattern, right?

Rear light strip (smoked) has always been a Porsche Exclusive option across the range but again due to supply issues is currently restricted on the Taycan.

I'd be surprised if Porsche allowed the GTS RS wheels to be specified on a non-GTS (at least not for some time). AIUI on other models with exclusive parts, the chassis number has been asked for to prevent people doing the look without the outlay?

I'm not sure about dark wheels on some body colours either. Gentian's one. There was a picture of a demonstrator (now sadly gone before I could static post the image) and the wheels got lost.

This is why I mocked up weiss gold in the colour thread on the GTS section. I don't want silver, but the satin aurum is too yellowy gold for my taste. Weiss gold is between the two.

Perhaps a gunmetal or dark ali' colour would work too.

My local dealer has a GTS ST in (not been prepared yet so a bit dusty). I'm assuming it is a demonstrator. It is almost exactly what I have on order (Same colour, interior, wheels combo, but I don't have the carbon body kit extras).

It looks stunning.

I just have to wait until Q1 2023 for mine (hopefully!)
