Phase 2 perhaps? In the UK that is Porsche Experience visit.

The Experience you have to book yourself and is not arranged by the dealer so unlikely Phase 5 relates to this - good idea as it is!

My (cynical) guess is that it's a placeholder for the inevitable software upgrades post delivery!

This system didn't exist (UK Taycans) in 2020 so in typical Porsche fashion customer communication is sadly lacking on fundamentals like this.

I looked at my-Porsche before writing so what I put is correct, phase 2 in the UK IS the Porsche Experience. What I didn’t know was what the 4 stages in the USA are but I guessed PEC Silverstone was the missing one.

Phase 3 is “Your vehicle is now scheduled for production”
Phase 4 is “the manufacturing process is complete”
Phase 5 is “Final steps before delivery”

Your "Silverstone" was what exactly? I'll be at Le Mans Monday for a few hours racetrack (supposedly with taycan ) and I do not get the point to offer (same experience) a dedicated service to choose optionals for your order, like 5 months after ordering the car lol

Interesting that it differs by region. We indeed do not have a site visit as one of our phases, just the 4 I mentioned in my first post.

I was apparently invited to Silverstone soon after ordering but didn’t get the email. Even when I did have the drive it was possible to change my options, if I had wanted to up to just before Phase 3 (which was 9 months from order).
The PEC let me try the sort of driving it would be mad to do in public and gave me experience of the stability control on simulated ice and so forth.
It was brilliant!

I took delivery of the car yesterday, and My Porsche still says the car is 'Under Production'. Just call and check with the dealer on the actual status.

This step though is coming right after my great track days in LeMans ....
I've been pushing to the limit, a nice ST GTS - std brakes
(and with a faulty glass roof !!! that I spot immediately and showed to the staff that were a bit ashamed by this fact - MY 22 & 4000km)

I had an invitation for the PEC but didn't get stage 1 and there is nothing to see in the app. Is this something that the dealer initiates?

I think the dealer gives your details to Porsche when you place the order and PEC Silverstone are supposed to contact you to arrange an appointment.
I hadn’t had an invitation but saw it was phase 2 in my-Porsche so contacted the dealer who told me the date of the email I should have received and the phone number and related order number for me to call them.
