Two issues within the only first day...

Hi Guys,

First of all, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone's contributions to make this forum the best source of knowledge about Porsche Taycan.
I couldn't be confident to confirm my GTS order last November without reading so many incredibly helpful threads here.

After 10 months of wait, finally received the white beast yesterday.

However, two major issues were noticed after parked it in the garage and tried to get familiar with PCM functions and settings:

1. I optioned the VLC, but the most rear end part just insisted to stay in frosted condition (as shown in the video), even though I have tried everything available on the PCM screen. Has everyone with VLC ever seen this issue before?

2. The Comfort Access should be standard feature on GTS, but nothing is appearing on my Vehicle locking system menu. I have also tried to login/logout/using different account/power off for a few hours/etc. but the feature is just not there. The only way I can lock/unlock the car currently is press the buttons on the key.
Is this an issue or did I still miss any setup process to "wake it up" before it becomes available?

I am going to ring the Porsche Centre tomorrow and make an appointment to check those issues, but it would be very much appreciated if anyone could provide some advice, especially the issue no.2. Thanks!

Looks like the comfort access hasn't been activated (not STD in UK and can be had as FOD) so hopefully a simple fix at the dealership.

VLC - no idea but I'd say the dealership didn't PDI properly (same for above) and pick this up.

Clue is in the OP country flag profile - that would be Australia.

To be fair, you do have an Aussie flag in your profile, and it says "Location: Australia". I assume this is visible to every forum member?

When viewing with Safari on an iPhone "Location: Australia" is not visible. And the flag is barely visible.

I am sure it is but with the OP's car the rearmost segment of the roof remains opaque whatever adjustment is made in his video, unlike this video where it clears when appropriate.

Hope it's a software issue of the VLC, appreciate it if you can keep us posted coz i also specced VLC on my GTS pts (ETA march 2023)

I have same problem with comfort access in a 4S just delivered a few weeks ago. Sales man was stumped too. Have to bring it in for a service to address it.
