I think the dealer gives your details to Porsche when you place the order and PEC Silverstone are supposed to contact you to arrange an appointment.
I hadn’t had an invitation but saw it was phase 2 in my-Porsche so contacted the dealer who told me the date of the email I should have received and the phone number and related order number for me to call them.
It was a good day out.

Complete opposite of me, I had the PEC invitation via email but otherwise zero comms from Porsche. I'll give the rep a call tomorrow.

A day after another .... good surprises I reached the level 5 ( boss level lol) ... So will be shortly contacted by my SP (hopefully) hereafter shows the road it should take .... down to Marseille I guess

My delivery status was stuck on step 3 and yesterday the picture of my car showed up (like you on Sept 6). I called the dealership to get a status, they told me that my car production is finished and should be delivered in 3 weeks (I am in Paris so it seems long to me)

From your side, did you receive your car? if so, can you please tell me on which date so I understand the real delays between the production is finished and the car is delivered?
Also the dealership informed me that when the car arrives they need to check whether there are any missing components and if that's the case they need to wait for them to be delivered and installed. This got me thinking that it might be related to the 12v battery shortage.

I got a stage 5 ping on my app as well this morning. Hopefully it means installed with the 12v battery and on its way from Emden but like others not sure until my dealer gives me more info.

My ST GTS was built end July, looking like end November before battery fitting and delivery. Been at stage 5 for months!

I emailed my dealer yesterday for an update but he hasn’t replied yet.
Yeah looks like November realistically but was hoping I would get it this month.

It seems, though, that as soon as the batteries became available during September they started producing fully built cars which now look like that will be delivered before those sitting in storage waiting for batteries, so he may very well be much luckier than we are though maybe not for August completion, it could be blocking our cars in the storage facility!

It is a logical business decision by Porsche but people like you and I (mine was started mid-April, finished end July) are not well served by the decision. The stored cars won't start to be completed until the battery supply is in excess of production line requirements.

I must say I understand it but am extremely angry about it and have considered cancelling the order.

I feel the same way! I ordered on the 17th November at 9:00am. The absolute earliest for the GTS ST, as that was the launch day on the configurator. I was also the first to place an order at the dealership, so should have been getting an early delivery. It’s going to be very annoying if others get their cars before me. It makes me feel that all the years I’ve supported Porsche have counted for nothing. . . .

I thought I'd be first starting in Sep and placing a reservation fee then and the deposit balance on launch day. Apparently I'm 3rd at the dealership which depending on allocation doesn't actually account for a lot! At the end of the day it's not a competition...or is it??

The longer the wait the closer MY24 however ?

A little update ... Today 3rd October stage 5 achieve few weeks ago ... but still SP said within Next week I might do the reception .... argggh apparently freight was postponed !?

Good news though got my winter set fully customized (floating center cap & valve matching)

I just need the car now

From what this forum has explained, it seems Porsche Reading is where every one of us should go IF we want to order another Porsche.

25% of allocations go there, the rest are split across every dealer in the UK, which probably explains this seemingly nonsensical casino of allocations.

@jijitalia did you receive any updates from your dealership? I also ordered a Sport Turismo that is supposed to arrive to the dealership in 2 days (I am based in Paris) but it is still stuck on step4.

Nope ?, i still awaiting THE call.... so far no news , no update .... hopefully on next week. I beleive the "steps" are unfortunately irrelevant at this point...

Fortunately for me I do not order any of these missing delaying options as bode, burm, or even new glass roof... the waiting time for these is endless

@jijitalia Well I saw that there is a shortage of 12v batteries, this is what I am worried about. It looks like they produce and they stock the cars for months waiting for the battery. Especially that my dealer told me that he sees that the car is out of factory since sept 17.
However I did order Bose but my understanding is that they just remove it from the config when it is available. In my case I do know that they didn’t remove it because the dealer sent me a link to add my car in My Porsche portal (to enable all remote Connected services on the car, and also order my charging card) and I do see that Bose is part of the options on my car.
