My loaner while my car gets the ANA6...

Barrington Porsche gave me a T4S as a loaner while my TTS is getting the recalls done. Pleasantly surprised how good/fast the T4S is! Plenty of power and feels almost as fast from any roll speed. You feel the difference off the line compared the TTS but it's still very fast compared to 99 percent of other cars on the road.

I'm pretty certain the loaner has the ANA6 as the infotainment is much smoother and has a diff't look. My car will be gone nearly a week according to the advisors as there are 4 other "updates" with the ANA6 that need to happen.

I love the color of the loaner car too even though I would never buy one in this color. Couple pics...

What colour is that?- it appears to me like a very pale blue-grey, almost a blend of ice grey / frozen blue / crayon.

i believe the color is frozen blue metallic...but it really pops under certain light conditions...great color.

Lucky you. My dealer gave us a Macan T as loaner, a bore to drive and definitely feels like yesterday's news compared to the Taycan.

It truly feels that way! I spent 60k more on the TTS...is there really 60k more in that car? Age old debate! When I had my Shelby Mustang I would get in the V6 version which cost similarly less and think the same thing...until I hit the throttle...lol. But the performance diff between the tts and t4s is fast or faster...lol.

Ego aside the t4s seems like a great deal.

Jet Black Metallic. I like the color but having had bright color cars in the past, i prefer less attention. Especially from the local police. lol

My dealer gave me a big-ass Cayenne and I proceeded to scrape the side of it on a cement wall trying to fit into a parking space. Don't be stupid like I was.

I also purchased my (used) Taycan from Barrington. My sales agent stated that their used vehicle purchasing manager goes crazy for them on the auctions, hence they get a lot of manufacturer buybacks.

Thanks for your post, this really helps to know real differences between the best Porsche can offer and a "lower" rank model.

I guess your TTS has all performance options, PTV+, PDCC and I wonder how is the suspension comfort in the 4S (probably without PDCC). Does it feel more unsettled over bumps?

If you have acoustic glass and loaner doesn't do you think its noisier?

Fake news. No way the 4S can feel anywhere close to the TTS, given how much faster the GTS is than the 4S…. Maybe it’s the lack of alcantara.

Thanks for the post. I’ve got a 4s with every performance option. I’m still surprised that you think a 4s is close to a TTS or even a TT on a pull. The difference in % power and torque is at least the difference between a base car and a stage 1. Normally this is a very clear difference and on the cars I’ve taken to stage one (M4) very noticeable. I’d like to be in your corner on this but I’m sure my but dyno would tell me something different sadl.
