Hi has this happened to anyone and any suggestion
After sitting in the car the car switches on automatically the car drives perfectly no issues with the dash and everything lights up on the centre console but no connectivity with phone . When I press to connect phone it says please switch on vehicle even when I’m driving . Voice control goes away as car thinks it’s off.
I can’t even reboot the pcm via the 2 finger touch on the top right .

I’ve tried several times to start the car by pressing the button( on and off ) many times so car thinks it on but to no avail

I can drive but nofun without music

shall I reboot the pcm via the piwis?

I’ve been getting a message that tells me functions are limited while driving, eventually it rights itself when it decides to look for my iphone, took about 15 mins today. At the moment I can forgive the car anything (4S) because it is such a sweet drive, I know the weight sits low but I still can’t grasp how they made it feel so light, controllable and utterly engaging, like a stretched 911 (had seven of those). Crap tech but this is way better than RS6 or M5 type equivalents for those of us needing some sort of compromise. It’s brilliant.

Sounds like a software problem. Some software issues solve themselves after the car goes to sleep.

Before trying a PCM reboot, I suggest parking the car and locking it overnight. Put all key fobs in a Faraday cage (or wrap them with seven layers of aluminum foil) and store the key fobs more than ten meters away from the car. This should allow your car to fully sleep and reset for your next drive. Hopefully the software problem will fix itself. Good luck!

Yeah I did that but not the foil method . Put it overnight and more than 20 meters. I’ll reboot the pcm if not will get the software update which I haven’t
