Just placed my order for 2023 Cross Turismo. Black roof rack and the extra option roof were unavailable

I just placed my order for a cross tourismo 4 s Jan 2023 build, (was on waiting list for 11 months) . Had about 36k in options and was just told they Won’t have the black roof rack and the extra option roof. Guess they are still having problems with suppliers. One more note the dealer said they will have the Bose Radio available which I was told a few weeks ago by another dealer that Bose will not be available for all of 2023. A lot of bad info going around. Just reporting my experience

That explains... things. (By "black roof rack" I assume you mean the roof rails?) The 4CT I'm waiting for is optioned with roof rails in Black Aluminium finish (option 3S2), and my schedule experienced some delays. It's back on track now, but the delay was strange and the info you shared could be the explanation.

Are you now getting your roof rails?as of today I will not have my roof rails for a march delivery.

Spoke with my dealer today, latest he has heard is that base Taycans are limited to base audio, but with both Bose and Burmester available for the other trims - seems to at least match what I’m seeing in the configuration.

I agree that’s what I was told also, thanks. But still can’t order roof rails!!

My 4CT also has black roof rails and was on time even though it looks like we started at very similar times. Here's the code in case you wanted to compare: PPP1KQB0.

If they're similar, sorry for taking the last Bose + roof rails I guess

Very nice spec; I've seen a Neptune in person, and the photos are but a pale impression of how impactful that color is.

@whitex the price of the Premium Package has been adjusted down to exclude the cost of Bose. Plugging in @familyhauler's code prompts the price adjustment message. When I checked earlier - around the time they pulled Bose from the spec - the price of the PP was the same as before. It must have been just the configurator.

You made me load my build into the configurator to see if I got the prompt for a price adjustment. Nope. (it's a Turbo, so Bose is standard equipment).

I have black roof rails and my estimate production just moved up ~3 weeks (after moving out >2 months before), so perhaps they found a Bose and roof rails for mine? Or maybe they had my parts all along but they are short to build cars they were going to build before mine, so they moved them out and slid my build slot in instead? And here I though I had all this extra time to convert my Tesla charger in the garage and figure out how to integrate radar/laser defense into the Taycan....

Interesting, I just plugged my 2022 code in to see how it changed with Bose not being available for RWD.

I've ordered Neptune Blue. I saw one in the showroom and love it.

It makes me wonder that Porsche would remove an option from a configurator for only 2 weeks. Most configurator builds will not be built for weeks, probably months, with a very wide range of build dates. They must really be scrambling with their supply chain issues.
