Yes, I checked the order form carefully to ensure the order firm reflected my final choices (no Bose ).

On the fence and waiting for my SA to turn up to work - they all seem be part time at my dealership!

I suspect I will cave in as I don't want another year's depreciation (worst case) for the sake of a £950 option. My plan was always to renew after 2 years but given the situation this has not quite worked out but only 3 months adrift give or take.

I guess unlike the majority of us here is you are in the unique position of currently having BOSE in your Taycan so you would know how much (or how little) you would miss it on your new Taycan.

I'm sure to miss it but I mostly listen to Radio 4 (I'm very old) I guess I can survive on a 10-speaker 150W setup!

It’ll be interesting to hear everyone’s feedback on the base stereo when we all take delivery… and reflect back on this thread.

No two ways about it… if it were available I would have spec’d it! But its not going to impact the enjoyment of owning this amazing car (my first Porsche).

Finally my turbo is off the starting block , back in on Thursday to finalise the spec , roughly how long before delivery as I’d rather marcg delivery if possible

You can’t currently lock in an order with Bose (or Burmeister) as an option.

If you insist on one of those options then your order will be deferred - the next person in the queue will take your allocation and you will need to wait until the next set of allocations

You can’t just finalise your order including the option, take the allocation, and have them build your car as soon as the parts are available.

I think if Bose is standard (which it is on the Turbo / Turbo S) you will get that included - they are saving the limited numbers of units for those cars where they are part of the standard specifications.

Thanks. That's what I'd hoped. Would make sense to keep all ranges being issued

I'd probably take it with the Bose instead of delaying it further.

Be able to take the price down on that basis to cover the ever increasing interest rates lifting the monthly payment!

Just a quick update on my order - I had a call from my SA towards the end of the day:
1) bad news my allocation is now Feb rather than Jan production
2) good news that might allow me to add Burmeister (but not Bose)

He will hopefully confirm tomorrow.

So I’m really lucky to potentially have the option to spend another £4,200 and receive my car a bit later…
