UK order status and delays?

I saw a transporter with 6 Taycans heading west on the M4 this morning, hope they are on the way to making someone here happy ? I was heading the other way the only one I could be sure of was a Neptune Blue CT.

Car left Emden on 23 November so on Danube Highway which docked at Sheerness on 24th. Didn't show as entering Sheerness until 28th November so presumably port processing. PRG tell me PDI will be done at Sheerness before transport to Reading then 48 hours for final prep for handover. Expected date in Reading is still showing as 9th December and I saw that @Poshfpg waited 12 days for theirs to get to PRG Guildford. SA will update me again on Saturday

Fingers crossed ? Hopefully I'll be around the same date. Simon said he only gets 24 hours advance notice of arrival in Reading. Just seems to be a slow process from arrival in Sheerness by PRG dealers doing PDI at port.

Yep, I really do not have any grounds to complain whatsoever. I only ordered on 9th June this year so delivery on or around 9th December will be 6 months to the day

6 months!! You ordered when I finally locked down 12 months post order.

My car arrived 17/11 and cleared PDI at Sheerness today 30/11 and is, expected at Guildford early next week but as ever with only 24 hours notice for the SA. I get back from abroad next Wednesday so am hoping to collect it Thursday 8th. ?

Sounds like there’s a big push by PRG to get the cars out pre Xmas. End of year bonuses I presume.

Hopefully this thread will go very quiet in 10 days

I looked at that GTS a while ago, I like the colour, and whilst it otherwise had a spec I didn’t want it was around £150k and a wait because it is a demo car.

I am an early morning person so yes, I am having my third mug of tea. My wife, who will take me to the dealer later, is the opposite so she will sleep until the last moment!

I was lucky and the dealer came and collected me and my wife from home so we could drive back in the Taycan. I was ready much earlier than her and it was the hottest day of the year!

Mind and keep her (the car) between the hedges on the drive home!
