I can't imagine an increase in new car prices is going to have a downward influence as opposed to solidifying residuals.

I agree and hope so but I guess what I am referring to are the current used prices, which seem an absolute bargain at the moment when taking into account the new price increases - will we see a "reset/repricing" activity happening - probably not for current stock but who knows...

Wow, I assume you have full PTS including in that? I thought my £129,500 GTS was at the top end of what it was worth adding to a GTS!

Each to their own, but I think that’s massively over-spec’d - your money, your car etc.

However, one thing I really don’t understand is the choice of PSCB with white calipers which every single piece of trim is black?

Yep - I went full black on my GTS ST including the PSCB calipers.

Although I hated having to pay for it, I went for black callipers with the normal brakes, as the standard red just didn’t match anything else on the car!

Red is to tell others you have a 4S or GTS if you need to brag about it. One-upmanship and all of that!

I certainly don’t need it for that reason! It does have a GTS badge on the back and on the sills etc too.

Previous price rises have included extra bits in UK.
MY 19-20 Heated front seats
20-21 Park assist and reversing camera.
21-22 Storage package?

My 2020 4S was £94k list.
Now it would ‘only’ be £100k.
£6k in 4 yrs.

The more expensive models have gone up sharper and quicker.
The GTS has shot up (with no extra bits
My 2022 GTS was £111,500
Now it would be £118,000
6.5k in 2 yrs.

I am keeping mine for sure. For now…

That's nice. My configured vehicles even after the price increase keeps getting errored out. Configure again it's still old style in Canada

Our favourite Taycan vlogger, MacMaster, did a video on Porsche removing his Comfort Access function when he went in for a software update, negating to tell people he never paid for it in the first place. His whole video was based around Porsche "trying to control us".

He’s in a bit of a pickle now….. what goes around comes around!
