I remember there being a recall on my 2021, something to do with rear seat seatbelt harness issues.

My ride has actually been throwing Seat belt alerts and it drives me Crazy.
I have all the seatbelts clicked in and it still dings away seems like forever.
I could have sworn too that I've already taken it in to the Dealer for 2 different seatbelt computer upgrades and I've only had the car since last July.

Anyone know why only certain models from particular years are included, rather than all?
MY2020 - only Taycan Turbo
MY2021 - base Taycan and 4S CT
MY2022 - base Taycan, Turbo, GTS, 4 CT, 4S CT
MY2023 - only base Taycan

It seems like a random selection of trims. Is this a manufacturing deficiency, i.e. certain batches were using defective pars or procedures, but if so, is the remedy - new IC software - just a workaround? Or did they load different IC software for different trims, and for example 2020 Turbo had the bug, 2021 Turbo did not, 2022 got the same bug again (software regression?) , 2023 did not. Or does the recall apply only to trims from which there were complaints? I'm curious how something like this happens.

kind of like that there's no audible chime in my taycan, seeing the visible red warning on the dash display is adequate for me, lord knows I'm over-chimed

If you want to get rid of the red code off the cluster hit the back button on the right side of the Steering wheel and you'll hide it.
A Little trick I learned when I changed the Steering wheel.
