From your previous posts I was thinking similar, but not really clear on what’s needed for it to be found! On the outside meter and IHD it shows the new unit rate so it must have found it to do this surely?
You would think so.... hopefully the account set will complete shortly... fingers crossed ?

I have a commercial gas unit which they could not convert to a smart meter. I had a smart meter fitted to my electricity with a previous supplier and then was moved to OVO last year (they honoured my tariff contract until this July). I was therefore just a coincidence I was with them when I got my Taycan and found out about the charge anytime tariff. It just worked from the charge anytime app once I did the setup process on there.

They are coming out to fit a smart meter to my gas next month but the point is you only need a smart meter on your electricity ;-)
Yes, I managed to speak with OVO on Live Chat yesterday and can confirm exactly what you're saying. They are also coming out to make my Gas meter smart in a week or so. They've also concluded an issue with my Electricity meter so swapping that at the same time. A whole new setup should do the trick.

Has your standard Ovo account been set up ok? Or is the lack of connectivity delaying this?
Standard account is all setup. Took about a week longer than estimated. Was stuck without any account access during that time.
OVO coming out in about 10 days to replace both of my meters. Starting afresh should do the trick

Thanks. How long did I take ? Guidance on line says 4-6 weeks so hoping and praying not this! ( experience on here seems to suggest much quicker !)

My Switch date to OVO was the 7th. I believe it wasn't until the 12/13th that I could access my OVO account through the app or browser. Then a meter reading was requested. Then I attempted to apply for the Charge Anytime, only to discover that I had meter issues. Both Gas & Elec are being renewed in about 10 days' time.

Hmm, ok. I also switched on the 7th but still no access to app/ browser on line account ? I’ve just electric and a smet 2 meter so figured should have been swift but clearly not!

Then on one occasion, I followed the link from the app (where it kept telling me "my account was being prepared") to open the browser log-in (still on mobile) and then I had access to the account. If that makes sense...

I’ve tried all sorts. Am checking multiple times a day! Called them today. No further forward. On hold for an ok 10 minutes or so, transferred a couple of times but chap couldn’t give any indication as to why my account wasn’t set up or why. Said he would check daily and call me if anything changes. Maybe tomorrow will be the day!

She’s alive! Not sure if calling helped but this morning app opened up and account detail there. Went into the charge anytime app and followed the Instructions and all linked seamlessly. No messages on IHD/ smart meter first thing but will check this when home, and hopefully the IHD will be working ok. First test run tonight!

Fantastic!! I am sure it will work fine.
The only issues I have had result from Porsche servers not working. I have lost one discounted charging sessions as App/ Computer were not talking to the car, confimed by Porsche as due to upgrades on their system and then last Sunday I lost the LTE connection in the car so Sunday night/Monday early hours charging was at full price. LTE restored at 10.30am Monday so last nights charging was discounted.

First charge set. Plugged in, momentarily had green charge light then blue pause.

Don’t really need the charge tonight but thought it will be a good trial run as so need 100% battery for Thursday morning.

No, It dropped out on Sunday morning, looking at the My Porsche App this had lost connection to the car and my car was still on the A3 southbound and time was 10.30am. LTE symbol in the car was replaced by the 2 horital lines with a diagonal line through them and Spotify was "unavailable"

I called Porsche Connect from the car (0808 168 5219 Option 3) and they ran some checks while I was driving on Monday morning. They could see the sim card was connected but others services were not. They added some missing data to the PVTS set up but suggested it would need a visit to the dealer to have the LTE module reset. Then at 10.30am on Monday I got two messages pop up on my phone to say "Charging complete" and "Air conditioning complete" and the My Porsche App had reconnected and likewise Charge Anytime App. Only issues was now Spotify would not log in with the dreaded " QR code could not be retreived" message. Then today I checked around 11am and Spotify had logged itself back in. I also called Vodafone to check they could see my car again!

Best way to check is look at the My Porsche App and check it can connect with the car. Likewise Charge Anytime App should show the correct SOC when you open it ( it takes a couple of seconds to refresh)

Notes & tips from my experience of connecting to OVO Charge Anytime.
On applying to join OVO you will as likely as not be told they do not offer an EV tariff !
With your eligible Taycan, a smart meter & no solar panels you are OK to proceed.
From the standard Simpler Energy tariff you can apply for Charge Anytime which you will find listed under "offers". (unbelievably there is no mention of it under a Help search). An eligibility check needs to be gone through but you should be OK and be accepted. When your account is up and running download the OVO Charge Anytime app onto your phone and link it to your online account. Providing OVO have recognised your meter and it is set to give half hour readings you should be all set. (your smart meter may indicate that you are receiving power from OVO) At this stage my setup failed to charge the car since it did not recognise that the car was at home but showed it as "away"This required a reset by the app team which meant dropping a pin at the exact location of the charge point. The reset took a frustrating day & a half to come through. Thankfully all seems to be working perfectly now and the car is charging. I hope these notes help, but please add to them or correct if necessary.
