Hello,

Assuming I ever actually find a used Taycan with the options I want that is less than 400 miles away (the Burmester is making that difficult), I imagine it could be a 2020 model instead of a later one.

Is there any reason not to consider a 2020 Taycan? I know that you won't get plug and charge, which is okay, but any reliability issues, or other missing features?
I purchased my 2020 Taycan Turbo S with 1300 miles in Aug 2022. I had just placed an order for a 2022 Turbo and then found the 2020 in the dealer's showroom that had just been put on display.

Very similar spec to the Turbo I was ordering (ceramic brakes and Burmester) and was available immediately, so an easy decision. The Burmester is fantastic btw.

The car has been great. It did need all the recalls done and had to have the heater replaced, but nothing out of the ordinary in terms of reliability.

Good luck.

Wow, that's quite an upgrade, and only 1300 miles, congratulations! If you look at my last message in the thread, I've actually found one and bought one as well. It's still "just" a 2021 Taycan Turbo (no S), but I feel I've still gotten an upgrade, because it had all the options I wanted, and then some more that I wouldn't have gotten (but most of which I'm glad to have now).

That is my second certified pre-owned experience, and it continues to be great so far.

The Burmester is fantastic btw.
It really is, isn't it? I don't know if the BOSE has that as well, but I've noticed the Burmester has speakers in the pillars, which makes the sound not come so much "from below", as it did with my old Boxster...
