Final option consideration - Sport Side Skirts

Hi everyone,

First things first, this forum and the general engagement is awesome. Lots of these types of forums these days get toxic at times but support and advice here and sharing of info is brilliant.

I posted recently re final spec and the feedback I got really helped to finalise.

So have a 4S Ice grey on order. Probably over specced in the end but for what I'm paying thought to get it right without compromise.

So it's ice grey, crayon/black leather (think its chalk in other regions) interior with RS Spyder 21s. 4+1, Sport Sound, chrono, rear axle steering, passenger display, thermal windows, pano roof, model in black, black side windows trims, elec charge cover, Ambient lighting.

Last thing I am considering is sport side skirts. Looking at pics it does stand out and thinking it may be cool with the rs wheels however I'm likely gonna get them painted black so not sure if the light coloured strip on the side skirt will look OK or stand out too much. Anyone with the sport side skirt with either black or chrome wheels with a view?

Here I am throwing a spanner in the works last minute.
I would definitely see if you can flip to a GTS - There is endless availability that wasn't there last year. Ice Grey GTS with all the black bits is SMOKIN hot
Because...........you are paying for loads of extras on the 4S that are standard on a GTS and list price holds value better than extras so it could cost you the same.

This is of course UK spec differences between 4S and GTS
Might be different in Oz

Standard on GTS that you have said above you are adding to 4S: (in UK)

Side skirts (as part of upgraded body kit) in Black with GTS logo
Chrono pack
Upgraded interior trim - Your leather is included if you flip from Race Tex
RS Spyder wheels half price as upgrading from 20s not 19s and they are COMPLETELY Black
Sports Sound
Black window trim
Black model badge

You also get on a GTS over a 4S: (in UK)

18 way or 14 way seats
Bigger battery
Bigger brakes
More power
Nicer mirror housing
Black rear light strip
MATRIX lights
Coloured Wheel centre caps

You still have to pay to add (in UK)

While you are at it get Adaptive Cruise Control
Oz police are FIERCE speed enforcers
I used to live in Sydney (the best city in Oz) and I drove to Melbourne, Bris Vegas, Noosa and Canberra a few times - Long, dull journeys (although Pacific Highway less dull in places)
- ACC will be a boon when not hooning
