Anyone else got "fungus green PTS" door rubbers for free like I did?

Hi All,

Reality check. Did this happen to someone else before?
Car sat overnight in rain... Monday in the sun noticed my awesome new option / feature: Fungus green door rubbers!
Car is 1 year old. All 4 doors have this... it stops at the "junction in the middle of the door"
Washed them off but still wondering whether this is a common thing. Will mention when I'm going in for service soon

Well they are called children I'm afraid. IRL it's not that bad it just needs a good cleaning but back on topic it's so strange they came in green so quick. Seems like a reaction of some sort. The fronts had it too so it's not that the back doors were unused for 2 months or something...

No, I did check the trunk / frunk... it is just the lower half of the rubbers where they meet each other. The rubber around the window upper part is not green.

They look clean to me! Just returned from holidays in the mountain and at the beach. Still have some Istrian terra rossa to remember our stay ?.. I also have the green discoloration. There is another thread about this. I think it is some kind of silicone they used. Not sure.

It is a Porsche but also our holiday transportation device. Impossible to keep it clean at the beach and hikes. I don’t let them eat hamburgers and ice cream inside. I have a very good car cleaner. Het gets is as good as new even when it’s looking like this.

I have the same. Brought it into dealership and they fixed it but the green came back, just living with it now.

Hello , I have same thing. But Porsche service center didn't do anything. They said 'this is environmental problem. So we can't fix it.' .
I think it's better for everyone to make a complain.
