UK order status and delays?

…starting to watch this thread in earnest, my window of delivery is fast approaching….. mid Oct to beginning of Nov, even more excited that on delivery I can say goodbye to the ‘frugly’ model x

hmm things are seem to be moving up a gear, still trying to ‘hold my water’ and not get ahead of myself expectation wise as not many good reports ref deliver matching issued dates……….got an email from Porsche UK this evening with a freebie Porsche experience day invitation at Silverstone, needless to say had to buy additional/same experience for the wife as she is also a ‘petrol head’.

Hopefully we will drive to Silverstone in our 4s CT now booked for Dec 2n.

nice that came through too! the consistency of when people receive the PEC invite varies A LOT!

I ended up getting an order reference and called PEC who said the system showed an invite pending.. just not sent it to me!

No VIN yet, got some weird production code, no idea if I can use it for any tracking?

My VIN is showing now (maybe 1-2 weeks ago i think) with a build to complete first week of october. so by that , maybe 2 months before expected delivery?

A little while ago I received a build number, (six digits, starting with capital and five numbers), is this useful or just some internal Porsche code that is no benefit to customer ?

Suppose I’m hoping someone is going to say ‘hell yes to can access all build data, get a free lunch‘ etc etc?

Mines due to be build completed on the 15th October with a delivery date of middle to end of Nov, so all getting quite real now. I’ve got over my envy of the various Etron GT’s turning up since May in the car park (lovely looking cars though!). I was going to talk to my sales contact about the VIN early October as kinda assumed its birth certificate must be ready then.

I've been told I have a build slot in November with delivery in December, that'll be a 2 year wait from point of order so to say I'm excited is an understatement!

First time poster here and anticipating in excitement the Ice Grey GTS I have on order!

My Porsche app changed to Stage 3 (Scheduled for production) on 9th September. Does anyone have any idea of the lead time before production starts? I have no site of any VIN number so is that an indication that the build is some way off?

hmm I seemed be missing something - on the ‘My Porsche’ app I can see my saved configuration and can’t add my recently issued VINas it wants documents I don’t have. Put in a request to Cambridge Porsche to add to my Porsche but for now I trying to work out how people are seeing their order progressing without a VIN?

I was told with a fair wind and no delays I should get the car first week of Dec.

Thanks for the info, based on your dates it seems as though our delivery maybe similar. I have asked my SA however she has said that she has no updates?!
