    (im)patiently waiting for MY27...

£750 option for e-shift.. is, dare I say it, lower than expected!

2027 Taycan gets E-Shift, larger battery and much more - new model year!

Agreed.. would sit along side the remote park assist and cooled seats for me as stuff used less than half a dozen times! sure sure id get to experience the full range of “gears” on my daily 5 mile drive where I average 26mph 😆 (I’m sure I’ll still be adding it if it’s priced reasonably! )

2027 Taycan gets E-Shift, larger battery and much more - new model year!

being in a 1.1 I've not experience 'push to pass' in person yet, but moving the activation of it into a 'double pull' of the padels feels more intuitive* than feeling around to press a button. *not that I've ever though "hmm I could do this overtake even faster"

EDIT: to answer my own question, my OPC don't have a price for it yet on their system either! looks like waiting a few weeks to find out more

Are they not showing prices on the UK configurator? Was trying to compare the my27 4S black edition with the 26 but it’s asking for contact details and selecting the nearest dealer

I was pretty skeptical when I saw the trend, but I then drove a friend’s 5N and, wow, that was a whole load of fun. I still tend to agree, though.. I'm not sure if it suits the Taycan

    (im)patiently waiting for MY27...

so my 3 year ownership of my MY24 4S is coming to an end in November and I've started to look at options for replacing her. mine was purchased via Salary Sacrifice and I've had relatively trouble free driving (heater packed in, cameras decided to intermittently work and needed wiring looms...

    Intelligent Octopus Go

looks like you can follow this process to avoid having to call CS up.. IO Go - enable charger option can take 24 hours to show in the app though

    Intelligent Octopus Go

Octopus changed their preference of onboarding into intelligent go back in November. They’ve now said they will try and integrate directly with the vehicle if its supported even if you have a compatible EVSE. With the vehicle integration they can see SoC from the car which they can’t via the...

Andersen EV Chargers and their reliability. Is the company on the brink of bankruptcy for the second time

It does, but from my experience of both setups, integrating with the EVSE is a much smoother experience and some additional flexibility

Andersen EV Chargers and their reliability. Is the company on the brink of bankruptcy for the second time

you may not get the same "smart" features, octopus compatibility etc with the Porsche wall box (if important to you)

Andersen EV Chargers and their reliability. Is the company on the brink of bankruptcy for the second time

the original Anderson going under a couple of years ago did send some mild shocks on the longevity of the numerous EVSE manufacturers that have popped up over the years. Given most have a reliance on a mobile app, a company going under might leave you with a 'dumb' smart device even if it is...

    WSJ8 campaign - software update

Surely a coincidence but since this update, I’ve had two occurrences (both on Tuesdays) of issues with the cameras not working. had zero issues in the last 2 years with them Last week 2 of the 4 were down and this morning, all 4. Coming back to the car after a little while seemed to sort it last...

    WSJ8 campaign - software update

update installed which then led to lots of the built-in apps (news, calendar, weather. music etc) having an update available... can't say I use any of them apart from music! no obvious updates to the navigation.

    WSJ8 campaign - software update

had a ping in the car (MY24) and then a day or so later via the app... can't say I've had any issues with nav on mine, but will see what this does! coming up to 2 years or pretty issue free driving with the car, given all the well publicised issues, fingers crossed I've avoided them all so far...
