As the odometer recently hit 5 digits, I reflected on my experience thus far. I must say that it’s been very good. A few interior noises that I have yet to take it in for and a strange beep sometimes when the back hatch fully opens. The driving has been excellent blend of comfort and sportiness.

I know there are a few of you that have been in limbo on deliveries. I would encourage you to hang in there. I waited quite a while to get mine and I must say that it’s worth the wait…all things considered.

I was impressed by your 3.5mi/kwh since I can rarely break 3.0mi/kwh on mine and in realtime it's more like 2.5-2.8mi/kwh, but then I looked at my total trip data on the app which is showing 3.3mi/kwh. How is that possible if I rarely hit 3.0 on a daily basis?

My 3.5 average aligns with what I have seen over time. At certain temps, I do better than 3.5 and worse at other temps.

Strange, I wonder why my day to day is so different than my overall average. I generally drive like an old granny too. As soon as I hit the highway on my way to work, I put it on Range mode and set the ADAS at 70mph

What range do you typically get out of a full charge?

MIne is a '22 as well. I've had it just under two years and covered 26k miles

I dont charge to 100% often…cant recall the last time and what it said. Recently, hitting an 85% charge gets me to 245 miles on the guess-o-meter which is fairly accurate. So far, the spring has been the “jackpot” for me in terms of efficiency/range. Haven’t owned the car in the fall weather just yet.

245 miles on 85%! I'm typically showing 220 miles on 100% and more like 185-190 on 85%. I think I've got an issue with my rear diff or gearbox though. Groans at low speed <10mph. I've had it back to Porsche and they replaced a bunch of parts, including the rear motor, but it still does it.

Keep in mind my average speed. My car is primarily used around town for kid duty. Lots of stop and go…where EVs excel. If you do more highway miles, it would be different.

My typical range is closer to yours - eked out 200 in the winter (new), a brief but exuberant 250 sometime in the summer, and ~240 most days.

I find the best efficiency is on 2-lane highways at moderate speeds (~ or below 60mph) at 3.5ish mi/kWH; multi-lane/interstate and bumper traffic are both less efficient at 2.9 or lower. I never bothered with Range mode, but I do keep the A/C on Eco (and I try to drive sensibly).

Also check out this post.
