Odd, I watched my SA pull the info up on his computer. Maybe yours doesn’t want to give you dates she knows they’ll miss.

I hope not, when ordering I was told it would be an October build for delivery mid November!

As you will see from 100’s/1000’s of posts, it has been a rarity for Porsche and dealers to be in agreement and deliver on time, don’t get me wrong it is improving- I’m on my third target date first Oct 23, then Feb 24 and currently end of Oct, beginning of Nov 23.

There are so many varying factors that’s it’s near impossible to state which model, which dealer or in which country for anyone to predict any certainty on a delivery date.

I made my own date window which although is broad, is still hopeful thinking - 4th quarter 2023

First time poster here and anticipating in excitement the Ice Grey GTS I have on order!

My Porsche app changed to Stage 3 (Scheduled for production) on 9th September. Does anyone have any idea of the lead time before production starts? I have no site of any VIN number so is that an indication that the build is some way off?

They told me that it was locked in on the 30th Aug, a Nov build slot and delivery in Dec or early Jan. I can understand your excitement, I am also really looking forward to mine. They told me that it was locked in on the 30th Aug, a Nov build slot and delivery in Dec or early Jan. I can understand your excitement, I am also really looking forward to mine. Same here, it's my first Porsche too and have had my eye on this car for the last 2 years so can't wait to get the car. I guess it's just a waiting game now and keeping our fingers crossed for swift build and delivery!

August	Factory shut-down - sadly just didnt make the build before then
01/09/23	Start production
08/09/23	Entry to Emdem
15/09/23	My Porsche app shows Stage 4 (Build complete)

The car is still currently in Emded (affected by lorry driver strikes) according to the SA's system - although I am very much hoping it is on a boat right now.

Original expected date to be with dealer was 15/09/23, then moved to 22/09/23 - however as it's not yet in the country, it's going to be a few more weeks, and certainly not tomorrow ?.

Still - I think my order process has had the wind behind it, and I've been lucky so far - but I have everything crossed now to get it here!

Oh, and these turned up today! Interestingly they only showed in the mobile app - I hunted out the original image links from the orders json file - there are an impressive 7MB or so each!

Love the breakdown and photos, seems like quite a quick process once production starts (apart from the delays with the shutdown and strikes)

I have a question about how you got the breakdown of the timing. Is this a format you have created, or was this provided in the app? I have looked in the app and at present it is only showing that my car is scheduled for production, but I cannot see anywhere I can get a breakdown. Thanks in advance.

I just pulled it togther - bank statement for deposit payment, various email from SA, and the App shows dates the phases change. My SA sends me screenshots from the Porsche internal system. eg:
