Just had a letter from Porsche regarding a software update for first quarter in 2025. Check of high-voltage battery cell modules and install of diagnostic software. Is this a new recall?

Yes agree. Had an RS6 and a c63 previously and even though both had road presence and a certain poise.. they are nothing like the scale of the Taycan.

Yep, I have weird recall too. I must say Porsche are "amateur hour" when it comes to communications. It's probably a mistake - or the PCM (which is fine) or perhaps the oil filler cap. Absolutely amazing.

All working now. Thanks. Nothing really different, same stick. Took a long time to load though... Maybe didn't connect properly earlier? I'm on Mac and Kingston Stick is formatted FAT32 out of box. Lossless fine, I have a few video files on there too so will be interesting if they play.

Thanks for the comments. I'll try again later. USB Stick is just Kingston 256gb USB, music format a mix of old purchased iTunes and Apple Lossless.

I'm trying to figure out how to add my USB stick to play music. When looking at manual all new devices need bluetooth. I'd thought it would just load once inserted. Am I missing something. I did try to read manual but not clear.

Okay, so I'm also not wanting to shut down car every time, but think music continuing at any volume is odd. Is there any way of setting this to all stand by when opening door?
