Hi all
Hopefully starting a new role soon and they use Zenith for their SS scheme. Really after a Taycan. Does anybody have access to give me an idea of currently Gross monthly for a Sport Turismo on 3 years with 10k pa please?

also I’m keen to keep a relationship with my local dealer into which our Cayenne will be going but we won’t be buying another because it’ll be through the scheme. Has anybody ever managed to get Zenith to use a specific dealer and in particular any of the Inscape dealers?

have lease prices been coming down over recent months in line with used prices and what the quoted lead times at the moment? Or is there stock available for immediate delivery?

sorry for all the questions.

many thanks

Problem is that there are so many variables with options and model type, you will need to give more detail such as:
  1. Model - 4, 4S, Turbo, Turbo S
  2. Options - there are so many that could at £50k plus to your order
Suggest you go to Porsche website and spec up what you want, advice to only spec what you understand/know you will use/need.

Salary Sacrifice schemes are priced on depreciation to sell at the end of the contract period taking into account mileage covered etc. Salary Sacrifice does not follow normal customer/dealer indicators as the Salary Sacrifice company is the middleman/3rd party that needs to make a profit.

There are multiple Salary Sacrifice companies and the all have set their own business partner chain, so in most cases their business is with pre-selected dealers of wish you have no option to change, note some dealer chains have multiple dealer sites.

Another point to note, Porsche dealers are predominantly franchisees so not directly related to Porsche corporate so dealer have to purchase vehicles from Porsche the sell to either customer, Salary Sacrifice companies are in effect customers so you with have restricted influence/control on the purchase except for the specification of order and agreement of contract price to the SS company.

Hope that helps

Thanks Hanny that is useful. Sorry yes. I just meant a base ST. But now you mention it I need to add the extended battery option. I was really just after a ball park gross figure for the Zenith scheme in particular but if someone had a number from one of the other larger schemes I’d expect them to much of a muchness. But all you info is useful as I probably won’t bother asking the questions about specific dealers now. Was just keen to try to get the business out through my local dealer if poss.

I've had a salary sacrifice tracker running the best part of a year (see this post)

and there's some data you can see here

all the Zenith orders tracked (8 orders) have been placed with Porsche Cambridge (Jardines). A number of Sal Sac providers use them too.

Thanks Jin. That’s brilliant. Looks like most likely my order will go through Cambridge then assuming the numbers work.

not Zenith, but a quick quote with Lex for an ST with only Performance Battery + added shows as below. This is 3 years@10k miles.

assuming the Zenith Scheme is comparable to Lex (maintenance, insurance, tax, tyres)

there's BIK on top too.

in terms of wait times, I was quoted 18 months when I ordered in Oct 22 but looks like it will be 13 months with my car due end of Nov.

also bear in mind that depending on when you get allocation you might also be privy to any MY price increases/changes.

My quote was for a MY23 at point of order (oct 22) but when I received allocation (aug 23), I had to suck up the increases for a MY24.. that was nearly £7k more on the P11D value

Wow that really works then. To get into that car on PCP or standard lease you’d be paying lots up front.

appreciate most here will have already been through all this thinking but this is the first time doing employed for me so never had to think through all this.

yep, no upfront deposit, and not having to worry about the increasing costs like insurance and pricey items like tyres and servicing makes it a relatively 'stress free' period of driving

@Phil3103 , the following is off the Zenith web site for salary sacrifice- not model ST 4 with performance battery over 3 years at 10k per year…no other extras:

Porsche Taycan Taycan on Zenith and dealer preference image001

points to note, Gross cost is actual cost, the rest are effectively savings from paying pre tax + BIK tax. You will have to select cost based on your salary tax bracket.

Without going into personal info that should give you an idea Total cost at time of quote £84,654, will adjust when you lock in options just before build start.

Should note than not many spec a basic car, so this would be just base and WILL increase as you start adding on options…

Thank you. Definitely I’m going to have a look at. Can’t believe you can get into these without throwing a load in up front! Will work out much cheaper than the Cayenne currently costs.

That’s why I have x2 EV’s on the Sal Sac scheme for last 3 years and have another two heavily spec’d on order, one being the Taycan, the other a Cupra Born

It’s definitely a great scheme, and I think everyone has answered your queries.

My pence worth…

I don’t see prices coming down for the reasons already covered. My original quote from placing order went up by 13%, still ok but be prepared for an increase if the lead times are still 9-12 months or so.

Options - the option list is a cruel sweet shop and the base cost can increase rapidly. I quickly got over the fact a base Porsche needs quite a few ££ to get some pretty basic options. Folding mirrors as a started for ten. I don’t think I’ve gone to mad and I think my options are around £13k on 4SCT.

Facelift - it looks like a facelift is due next year. If you order now you may get one of the last of the current shape. Would not worry me but I’m sure would prevent others from ordering. This could work in your favour if you’re not worried. Porsche are currently running a 25 anniversary pack (deal). I don’t think they do this often and could be that orders are slowing a tad. Potentially I guess you could really luck in and miss any price increase if the lead times are reducing. Most people on here have waited a min of 9 months(some double that) through the ss scheme.

cheers
