RS Spyder rim color from satin black to indigo blue; what to say ?

Hi everyone
I'm about to replace my 4s with a new white Taycan gts with black 21" RS rims...and I've started to fantasize about the idea of having the rims painted blue, like those of the GT3 RS...what do you think? I'm not able to edit images with the PC but I'd like to see a simulation... ideas? suggestions?

In my humble opinion, I don't think it will suit the Taycan.

They work on the GT3 because the design is a bit more out there / extreme, there are blue accents and decals (so the wheels aren't out of place) and because it's a 2-door sports car.

To each his own, and by all means it's your car so your choice, but the generally accepted wheel colours in Europe are silver to black, with dark shades of gray in between..

White, red, blue, and even Aurum (offered by Porsche) are at least eye-brow raising, and perhaps will make your car more difficult to sell (although admittedly, getting wheels recoated is really cheap, so I would never let that get in my way of a good deal on a car if the wheels were the wrong colour).

Perhaps my best advice to you is to get a photo of your car (maybe even from the configurator) and have someone do a 10 minute photoshop job on it, with the wheel colour you have in mind, and see if that suits your taste?

Can you upload a picture of your car from the side? I can PM you some photoshopped pictures with expected result, so you can decide yourself. You should not care what we think about this decision as the color is the most personal option of a car.

..., probably the best way to test the result, will be to wrap one/or all the rims... there are plenty of indigo blue films available... So, in case of failure, everything goes back to the way it was without effort

I am very satisfied with the result,... moreover, @Jasper4S has maintained a subtle shade of color, so as to be aggressive but elegant at the same time....I Like the project ?

I really like the blue but then I don’t like the gloss black with shiny metal bits which come on most Taycan wheels in the first place personally.

I do like the satin black versions on the GTS.

if i were going blue wheels i'd also want to add the glacier blue headlights, rear porsche logo and add the blue contrast stitching to the interior. if you wanna do it, commit!
