I ordered a Macan 4 as it was much better value than the Taycan l - (closest comparison, a CT4 Taycan)
The Taycan ll makes the Mac4 look even better value.
I do love the new leather free trim in the T2 with retro fabric but it is still a £1,121 upgrade
and leather free is free in the Mac4 (I am not veggie I just don't like leather) as is 4+1 seats AND decent 20' wheels.
I am having a heated Race Tex sports S wheel too on the Mac4 and which you can get without Sports Chrono.
For my specification the Mac4 is £76,000, the CT4 has jumped from £101,000 from £109,000
£33,000 difference is massive. To me at least.
The power of CT has increased from just less than the Mac4 to just more but the range
is still showing as better on the website for the Mac4. Performance is very similar.
The price differences are mad.... Even the paint, luggage partition net and 18 way seats are cheaper in Mac4.
The only goodies you get on a T2 over the MY23 T are foldy mirrors and auto dimming mirrors (which I want)
and electric charger ports (which I don't). The new electric ports on the Macan are loads better. No silly little black fin.
You get foldy mirrors on a Mac 4 and free Lane Change Assist but have to pay £278 for Auto Dim
Lane Change Assist is £639 in a T2
Matrix LED lights are £852 in Mac4 - £1755 in (CT4) T2
To fit roof bars to a T2 you need glass roof and rails for £1749
Just need the rails on a Mac4 for £269
Inno drive is £1000 more in a T2 than a Mac4 and you have to have Sports Chrono which I DONT want. For another £1000.
I have loved (both) my Taycan(s). It's much prettier but the Macan is a better fit for the family and I save £££££££s.
And a bit less flash which I don't mind.
I won't miss Air Suspension. You need it in a Taycan to stop your bum scraping the ground.
I scrape my spoiler every few weeks in my GTS. I forget I am low or the bump is just too high. Very irritating.
Worst of all Smart Lift occasionally and randomly doesn't work and I scrape - INFURIATING.
The ground clearance in a steel suspension Mac4 is 184mm, 8mm more than a CT4 in max-height off-road mode.
I trust Porsche has made the steel suspension excellent.
Plenty of people here seem happy with Taycan 2wd steel suspension.

. Honestly I quite like them but the Macan ones are much simpler/cleaner
