I remember reading about it on another thread but couldn't find it, so I apologize if I am double posting.

It's about the pattern mismatch between the front and rear seats when both 18-way seats & 4+1 are chosen.

I noticed that the mismatch is real in some of the YouTube reviews, but it no longer shows in MY21 configurator. Even if you go to the US configurator, the mismatch only shows up in 2D mode and not the 3D mode.

I am just wondering if Porsche has fixed the issue mid year, or it will only be implemented in MY21....anyone here has taken delivery of a car with both options lately?

I added the 18-way after my market has switched to the MY21 configurator and will be pissed if my car ends up with seat mismatch....

Mine has seat mismatch pattern, but to be honest, I am not even sure, if the 18-way seats are so much better.

I'm glad someone raised this, I'm struggling to see what the difference is either. I've gone through the forums here and can't find any images to illustrate the differences and as you say the configurator doesn't appear to change either when you select the 4+1 option (other than the centre seat and the belt of course).

I have chosen the 18-way seats and the 4+1 seats in the back for my locked MY21 build.
TBH I have no clue what mismatch you are talking about?!
Can you describe it in words if there are no proper pictures showing it?

US configurator

Porsche Taycan 18-way Sport Seat & 4+1 seat mismatch

Norwegian 2021 configurator:
Porsche Taycan 18-way Sport Seat & 4+1 seat match

I have this combination in my order, it will be interesting to see how it shows up.

Oh, ok - I see the issue now. It shows the matching rear seats on the UK configurator.

I don't think it is country specific...I think the US is one of the few countries still using the MY20 configurator

If you guys hadn't pointed this out, I would never have known. It's strange though that the configurator shows one thing and then you end up with another.

Here is my MY20 UK real life example

What do you think of the 18 way front seats? I am trying to decide on my final build and 18 vs 14 is on my list of which to get. Thoughts?

OK, thanks to everyone who posted pictures!

Just to make sure:
The difference or mismatch is simply in the contouring of the back part of the rear seats that looks different from the contouring of the back parts in the 18-way sears in the front?
No big deal to me.
Actually I had a similar issue with the S-line sports seats (with integrated headrest similar to Porsche seats) in my e-tron as the configurator had then shown the very same integrated and quite bulky headrests for the back seats. Luckily in real life there were then adjustable and retractable headrests in the back.

It actually looks fine. Nice contrast in the rear. Nothing that is going to piss you off.

I received my MY21 car today and just spotted that, same as described in this thread, the rear seats don't match the front 18-way seat panels. The configurator showed them matching... it does bother me a little bit but not sure if it's worth pushing them to correct.

Strange... would be interesting to hear what the dealer has to say about that.
An off topic question: did you get the PSCB? If yes, can you post some pictures?
