PSU7ZUC7 - note - I have ZERO intention of buying one of these.

wow - limited options - $250,255.00 - wow

some notes:
  • very very few option/choices
  • sports bucket seats are the ONLY option
  • no brakes options
  • EVSE is a $0 option, but not standard equipment
  • only one set of wheels
  • very limited interior options
  • NO performance options in the performance section
  • BOSE is a $0 option
  • virtually no interior options
it's the most sparse Prosche configurator I've ever seen

I predict they will make very very few of these cars - they might be collectors editions, given how non-bespoke the builds are going to be - basically this is a "demonstration" product- they will build it to "one configuration" in limited numbers

price is hard to swallow IMHO - but looking back we'll proably all wish we'd bought one…

:CWL: I'd be unsurprised if _MOST_ of the weight savings are from deletion of the rear seats…cause ya'know it's an EV and there isn't much to be had in terms of weight savings.

Methinks there will be a healthy dealer markup to be added to that $250k MSRP

2 kg on brakes
one charging port (not two)
some CF bits to save weight
forged rims to save weight

This is a silly spec for Porsche to do. It has to be all about beating the plaid but even that was hard for them to do (if you read the article the driver needed an extra run). Regardless, a four door car with only 2 front seats. Im all for performance cars that make little sense as I have Urus Performante on order, a current 2023 Urus S, and a 2024 Raptor R being built but this is really ridiculous!

US configurator doesn’t have bucket seats for some reason. To your concern, typically the higher profile the model the fewer the options because they’re already standard on the car [IE Active Ride.] I did notice the new xenon lights are not available on the Weissach package; Presumably for weight savings.

Also remember this is being introduced rather late in the game on the mid cycle refresh. Either this is a one off, or they’re going to carry it over into the next gen in a couple of years. But that will probably be a decidedly different car since it will share the same platform with the BEV Panamera.

Intriguing release, but still badass.

I built one in Bahama Yellow and silver wheels.

Interesting that they give you a silver wheel color option, but you can only get black, gray and gold on all the other models.

Agree to disagree .. I mean having too much performance is a common issue with a lot of supercars and even my Taycan Turbo S is silly fast for how heavy it is. However not having rear seats for a GT with four doors is just plain stupid. If you want to do a 2 seat variant that’s cool and fine by me but just make it 2 doors not 4…..

It might be a negative $600 option, if it shows up this summer (as announced) and Porsche still doesn't have a new cable with temp sensor to give you.

No ADAS options whatsoever either.
