Absence of driver input is determined based on the steering angle sensor.
There’s no pressure sensor around the rim of the steering wheel to detect whether hands are on wheel, so no issues with wrapping in leather.
I didn’t have this issue, but it must have been broad enough and known by Porsche for a technical service bulletin to be issued. Not sure if those bulletins are published in Germany but could reference TSB 2227.1 with the dealership to address.
Sharing a mini project of mine for posterity.
While I like my slate grey race-tex interior, the bland grey seat back covers and the surface area they represent relative to the rest of the interior have always bothered me. They remind me of interiors from Ford Econovans.

More than welcomed to join us next time if you’re in town. Always a good time meeting fellow owners, sharing the experience, and checking out different trims / specs / mods.

2. Installation is a 5-minute job.

At that speed it’s likely rolling resistance from the tires / drivetrain that is bringing the car to a halt, and in that case doubt the brake lights would be illuminated.
#1: I’ve looked into comfort entry settings but was not able to find any fields. Not saying not possible, just haven’t found any settings yet given developer mode is all in German, with multiple hundreds of coding values across ~50 control units

Closest DC charging is in Novato (EA) 11 miles away.
You’d need to make your way back out to Novato after a couple of sessions (or 3 if you go easy).

I have this coded on mine so can confirm functional.
These same settings activate the rear light bar as part of DRL for 992s and on my previous Panamera.
