ALK + ACC + LKA + Innodrive suddenly unstable

I bought a used 22 RWD with the active lane keeping, iInnodrive, and lane keep assist, all enabled.

These performed remarkably well, keeping the car centered in the lane, and in pace with traffic with zero problems.

Suddenly the active lane keeping is super unstable. The car seems to not recognize the edges of road lanes consistently. Sometimes it drifts over the lines. Or sometimes make sudden jarring corrections. And oscillates back and forth between left and right sides of the lane. Occasionally accelerates as though there is no vehicle in front of it. And sometimes starts feeling like it is floating bouncing over the road - not planted and firm - then disengages the assistance systems without any warning.


Super dangerous and weird, especially since it perviously performed flawlessly.



Anyone have similar experience?

good questions.

everything looks clean. even after the last cleaning detail, the issues persist.

recent changes:
replaced hv heater
40k service
tires replaced
onboard charger replaced

They may have disturbed something doing all that recent work. It is unfortunate it appears to be intermittent. Those issues are harder to find but perhaps the car has logged some error codes that the technician can see with the PIWIS tester. Good luck. I have only had trouble with some of these systems in a heavy rain but they cleared up afterwards.
